headset for razr
I was all decided on purchasing the RAZR (rather than the e815) until I thought about this one important part. The RAZR does or does not have a port to plug in a wired headset? I talk on the phone for hours at a time and a bluetooth , I'm afraid, would need recharging constantly in my case. Please someone tell me that the RAZR has a port to plug in a headset!!!!!

yes it will have a headset jack. the problem is, is that its the same jack to charge the phone. so if you are charging your phone in your car u wont be able to use the headset. there are bluetooth headset that have as much as 10 hours of bettery life.

Thanks for the info. You say that there is a bluetooth headset that has 10 hours of battery life. I don't know anything about bluetooth. Can you fill me in on more info? Doesn't the headset also take battery power away from the phone itself? I will be using the headset while NOT charging, so sounds like I won't have a problem. Thanks for the info. By the way, do you know when we can purchase this phone and what the price is going to be ? Any news on whether or not the pink version will beout for Verizon?

yes, the headset uses a re-chargable battery. i have the razr for cingular and dont see a differents in battery life, but i dont use the phone as much as u do. check out some other replies about pricing. there IS a pin razr for GSM that you can buy from motorola, but its the original razr not the newer ones coming out.

I would definitely advise against the RAZR - honestly, it's battery life is atrocious. Also if you have any interest in using your bluetooth for anything other than a headset buy an E815. E815 is extremely hackable. Menu is also superior to that of VZW's "red" OS.
