Motorola RAZR V3c
What phone to get?
It is a tough decision, I like my 8100 and thought about changing to the 9800 (now the V) but can't justify the cost right now.
Personally I don't trust any phone with a swivel like the 970, it seems like an insurance claim waiting to happen.
The Razr is cool, but I have been extremely unimpressed with the quality of Motorola recently. If you can deal with getting it replaced every couple of months if it proves to be the quality of their recent offerings then it may be the phone for you. Motorolas are infinite...

Hey this is my first post on here but I have been looking at the message boards for a while now. I have my NE2 and I don't if I want the RAZR, LG 9800, Lg 8100, or Samsung A970. What should I do?
Its a nice problem to have, lotsa good phones to choose from. And it sure torpedoes the argument that Verizon's got no good phones. 🙂
I agree wit' the person who says try 'em all out at the store.. also, read a lot of the user reviews here on PhoneScoop.
For me, I think the 9800 is jus' too big, unless you really are gonna text a whole lot, in which case its the best choice. The 970's obviously great for the camera/camcorder fanatic (optical zoom! 2 megapixel!). The RAZR is a 'looks/coolness fa...

RAZR- I love how it looks and it is by far the best looking phone. It doesn't have mp3 but that does not really bother me because I have a 30GB ipod. I would like to know what the camera is like because I would like a good camera. And I would like to transfer pics from my phone to my computer so I guess I can use Phone Tools because there is no expandable memory. I'm sure I will hear more info on this in the next couple days as people start to get the phone.
9800- I do a lot of texting and am able to do it really fast. Do I really need the keyboard in that case? A few things I don't like about this phone are that I think the front scr...

The A970 is not going to last long with its design. For one, the swivel loosens the components. Secondly, the flip is awkward. You'll know what I mean.
The 9800 is a great multimedia phone optimized for gaming, web browsing, email, and text messaging. If you're not going to take advantage of its push e-mail capabilities, though, I'd say it's more than you need.
The 8100 is my personal favorite. However, the speaker will not work with the flip closed. The call will end.
Another thing for you to consider is that the expandable memory on these phones is in place solely for mp3's. You will not be able to transfer pictures to computers via miniSD cards, they must be sent through pix...

This is absolutely INCORRECT. You can move your pics and videos to the card and transfer them to your pc.
