Razr V3c in Canada Telus vrs Bell

I am in the market for a new phone and like the Razr. The Telus people are telling me their unit is way better than the Bell unit.
Can anyone tell me the difference, or experience with one or the other.
Thanks...

The V3c is the same phone no matter where you get it. Unless either Bell or Telus have a proprietary UI just like Verizon has here in the US. I currently have a v3c with Verizon and the UI (user interface) is horrible and makes the phone menus very slow to respond. So if either one of the carriers have their own UI, go with the other one and get the original Motorola UI. Both phones are the same though, same looks, same hardware.

By the way, I'm moving back to Canada this summer (Montreal)... Which provider would you recommend? Bell, Telus, Rogers?

Hope this helps...

Thanks, this is what i thought, but wanted a non bias second opinion.
I feel; Rogers is crap. I was with them for a few years and had way more dropped calls and poor reception compared to Telus. I haven't tried Bell yet, but talking with friends that are with Bell, all is good. I think in the East Bell is stronger. I am from Vancouver where Telus has stronger representation, but Bell is where the better prices are. I think i will give Bell a try this time and see what i get.
Thanks again.

Cool, it looks like Bell's prices are decent. It may be a toss up between them and Telus for me. Thanks!

Hi,

New to the forum. I've been with Bell for going on five years now. I've compared prices, they are the best. Service is fantastic. I travel yearly to Vancouver Island (from Edmonton)and have been able to call the Island no problem at major stops on the way (Kamloops, Chilliwack). I also have the Razr v3 (pink) and I love it. I've not had any of the problems that I've read on various forums where the owners have to deal with Sprint or Verizon. I'm not technically savvy, don't understand the lingo, but I do know I've had no problems and it is used daily as I boycotted Telus' landlines when I got my first Bell phone. My bluetooth headset works great too - got it on Ebay
