Motorola RAZR V3c
re: the Razr big design flaw
I tried this phone on Cingular because it wasn't available on VZW yet- great phone except for one big design flaw. The speaker is placed such that when you are holding the phone in your hand, you are actually covering up the speaker! On almost ever other Moto I have owned going back over 10 years, the speaker is on the outside of the flip, not the base like it is on the Razr. As I use the speakerphone a lot, I had to return it because that 'feature' made it impossible to hear out of the speaker and hold the phone in my hand at the same time. Too bad, because otherwise it was a great phone.

PRICE
With TMobile's current promotion buy 1 get 1 free at a price of $199...
Verizon better be sure to price the V3c at no higher than $199...
This phone has been on the market long enough. In fact, the market is already flooded with them. It's not like were talking about the V60c when it first came out in '01 for $420. That was a different story, VZW was the first on the scene with the V60, last w/ the V3c...
So... VZW, if you are listening, do not expect me to pay north of $199 for the V3c - not worth it. In fact, consider locking customers into a 3 year contract at a price of $150.
how does the front screen work? like after it times out what does it look like?
Available earlier online
V3c will not come out on the 28th for Verizon....

Is the Razr going to have the Dreaded Low Battery Noise ?
I have to tell you that the biggest issue I have with Moto Phones is when a E815 or V710 goes into Low Battery mode, it produces a horribly annoying Low Battery Chirp every few minutes and it can't be stopped.
This is a killer for most people that work or anyone who ever uses silent mode. It's unreal that when I spoke to Moto about this on the E815, they felt that was a good thing. I said to the guy (Who by the way was a product enginner for the E815) why does the person have to hear this over and over and over. After the first chirp, the person knows his battery is low. I asked him why when the phone is in SILENT mode why it does not stay silent and his answer was (Uhhhh) I don't know. This is the kind of stuff I can't deal with...

Speaker phone w/ flip down ?
But, why? I mean, hopefully this one would be the first.
Let me know. Thanks.
No Coverage
Considering Verizon and all other CDMA providers rely heavily on analog coverage I do believe this will be a mistake.
