Palm Treo 700w / 700wx

Would this fit comfortably in a front jean pocket? I'm not really interested in a belt clip so I was just wondering.

does anyone know if TomTom makes a version of navigator for this phone? Their website shows for 650, or windows mobile 2003. Also anyone whohas experience with TomTom on windows mobile

I am a student heading off to college soon and I will be needing a new phone. Would you say that this is a good phone for a college student or is there another phone that you would recommend?

i tried the headset from the 6700 on my treo and only one of the earbuds works. its like as if its mono. now i bought a treo 700 headset with two hearbuds, and hopfully it will work. i will be REALLY pissed off if it only supports mono headsets.

Hello all. I just got a Treo 700 and have my sbcglobal email set up through the Outlook program that's built onto the phone. It appears like the Windows Mobile 5 doesn't have any kind of spam filter, so I'm getting tons of crap. I really need to make this stop or this device is worthless to me. Any help or suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Will this work with VoiceSiganl or any other product that activates calling after syncing with Outlook's contacts? I want to have it come back and ask which # I want dialed, ie: home, mobile, office

I installed the sync software and have no problem w/ sync to my windows PC. But it won't sync to my outlook exchange server.

We set up my settings to include our server and filled in my log in info that all seems right.

when i try to sync using active sync it says this;
"exchanger server

Sync...: none

Windows PC

Sync...: today 11:57am

when i click on it i get this i get this message

"exchange server

cannot connect with current connection settings to check settings.....

view support code"

when i click on the view support code

it gives me "support code: 0x85020010".

How should i be syncing to get my treo to sync to the exchange server?

I am torn between getting the Treo 700w and the LG VX-9800. I am not really a fan of the form factor of the 9800, but, I don't need anything more on my phone than the 9800 has. However, due to my not liking the form factor of the 9800, I am considering the Treo 700w because it does everything the 9800 does and then some, but I have one need that I can't seem to find out if the treo has. Can anyone tell me if the treo can access v-cast? Also, what would you do in my situation? 9800? Treo??

I've got Samsung's i730 which has been a great phone with the expeption of new product glitches... Does anyone know if the Treo 700 has Head Phones for listening to Window-Media?

I know the mechine comes with a standard ear piece, but will the jack be compadable for headphone/ear piece?

The 650 was lacking in reception in a big way compared to standard cell phones - is the 700W any better in this regard?

I am a current Verizon employee looking to move into a sales job for a manufacturer. I am very interested in working for Palm or RIM. I have applied for a few positions on the company websites with no luck getting any response. I have all the qualifications they are looking for.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get my resume' viewed by the right people at these organizations? Is there a Human Resources phone number that I can call. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if the phone malfunctions after downloading software does that void your warranty?

The manual implies it and the specs online imply it when they say "Not available on all models" next to the 1.3 MP camera...

Any idea when this will release on Verizon's network? Have been impressed with this phone when I play with it in the stores, but I can't buy it with a camera in it!

I can sync my contacts with my PC, but I don't have the screen that pops up on my PC like it did with my 650. You know, so I can edit/input numbers on the PC, tehn sync so it transfers to my Treo?

Where is this screen and how can I get it to show on my PC?

At work we use a Merak Mail Server to run our email with an outlook front end. Is there any way to get Activsync sync with a merak server?

I am having to soft reset every day. This is not isolated to this one Treo 700w. I am on my second one because of the same problem. I am not doing anything intensive. Maybe a web page or two, some PDA calendar and contacts lookups. What the hec?! Am I supposed to do this everyday??! Anybody else with the same problem? OR am I so unlucky as to get the two Treos that do this.
