I will give my Phone the highest rate I can. Although I have had problems getting it set up the Customer service has gone out of there way to help me. My Husband is a legally blind Vet. and he can use the phone again. I have had to make all the calls on our previous iphone because he could not use it (He could hardly see it) Now he calls the operator and she connects the phone for him. It just takes a couple minutes. Because I did have a problem they gave me additional minutes and although it is the busiest holiday time of year they have been great. I personally can use big keys to dial and they also have voice dialling but my husband can have the operator help him with everything. The Iphone was fun but this phone is sensible and great for Seniors. Don't pay attention to negative reviews.

I have had Jitterbug six months, and voicemail has been a consistant problem. Messages left on Friday, not notified of until Monday....

Called customer support, they worked on it but didn't solve any problems as the scenario has repeated itself regularly.

To top off the problem the phone has no vibrate alert and you need to listen carefully for the reminder (if there is one) beep....

Frustrated.

Oh, and go over on the plan allowance and it's .35 a minute. I get to pay out an additional 61.00 to Jitterbug this month. My LAST month.

I ordered this phone for my elderly father after doing quite a bit of research. My father is almost completely deaf and can't really talk on a phone, but we wanted a way to contact him with simple text messages that he could return to us. The sales department was quite nice as you might expect, but when we received the phone, which is very expensive, I noticed that there was no notification that there was a text message. Unlike most other cellular telephones that show that you have a message on the home screen, Jitterbug requires a user to go through several steps by pushing fairly small scroll buttons to determine if they have a message. This definitely was not tried out on elderly people. We tried to have him use the phone, but when it was an obvious waste of time, we tried to return it just after a month's worth of use and were told we could not. The customer service representative that I spoke to was quite rude. Then they began sending us bills well after we had paid our final bill. I finally threatened them with legal action and hope that they will stop. Such a disappointment; hope that AARP will not endorse them anymore or run their ads.
