Everyone wants to talk about what this phone does not have. I'd like everyone to take a step back and consider all of the things the phone does. The KIN studio is awesome... I love that it backs up EVERYTHING. The operating system is so smooth and refreshing. Dragging content to the "KIN SPOT" is not hard at all and is very easy way to share information instead of using menus. I love how my contacts are arranged. Very easy to make phone calls to the people you call the most. Silverlight looks great, screen is not "high def" like the Omnia II but is till very clear and easy to read in sunlight. Keypad is excellent... I have giant hands and its very easy for me to manipulate. I can already type without looking and I've been using the phone for only a few days. Camera is excellent although I would have changed the location of the button. Phone is quick but not super quick. Not lag at all like I've read from other reviews. Zune player is great! Speakers on the phone are nice. I'm 30 years old, this phone is not just for tweens. Its for anyone who lives an active life and wants to share it with their friends and family. This phone is all about connecting and staying connected and it hits the nail on the head.
Bad.. Horrible

I know I wrote the same thing for the kin one but the only difference between the two is the size. So here it goes.........
Okay, I have had this phone for a while and I hate it. You can't record voice, you can't forward stuff, you can't send ringtones, the only thing you can do is text and take pictures (if no data plan)!! It is my least favorite phone and I would trade it for a razor any day. Sorry Microsoft but it's not good and I want to throw it at a wall and watch it shatter into pieces. Not to mention that it freezes, it doesn't receive texts occasionally, it will reset it's time o. It's own, it will say you didn't read a message when you did, just a lot of cons and not many pros. I would suggest this phone to an 8 year old! And an 8 year old only!!!!!
Ps. My sister has this phone and read my review and said to put it here as well.
Warning: New model stripped of all features!!!

Verizon sold this phone about 6 months ago as a "Smart Phone", then pulled it due to too many problems.
It was just re-released less than a month ago and it is no longer considered a "Smart Phone", but is now called a "feature phone"
I just got it and it no longer supports "Apps." and alot of other basic features are removed.
The operating system on this phone is really unusual and difficult to navigate, and not customizable.
Pro's:
- only $219.99 outright, with no contract
- 8mp Camera !!!
- Zune Radio
- FM radio
- accurate touch screen
- great slide out keyboard
- Threaded messaging
- No expensive Data plan required !!!
- WIFI
- 3.5mm headset jack/with microphone support
- Email
Con's:
- Must use Zune software on you computer to load music, videos, pictures.
-No facebook, twitter, myspace, youtube, no apps at all!!! phone is actually blocked from installing them from Zune market place!!!
- Not a true "HTML" browser, all pages default to the "WAP" mobile sites.
- No memory card slot/ no expandable memory! capped at internal 8gb
- no virtual keyboard (qwerty)
- while in a phone call, number pad disappears so you have to slide out keyboard to press additional numbers to do things like "press 1 for... or press 2 for...)
- everything you do on this phone, texts, calls ( in and outgoing ), missed calls are all stored in the same section, so you have to search through it all to find your incoming text messages, and there is no "delete all" function to remove text and phone call history. you have to open up each one and manually delete them.
This phone is marketed as "feature phone" for "social Networking" yet it does none of that!!!???
Think of it as an 8gb Zune with a great camera, that happens to make phone calls.
