Just started using this phone, very pleased as Motorola again has made a solid phone with tons of features. Its a very stable phone ,display is bright and very clear using QHD, Gorilla glass is a big plus.Battery life is very good for a android, better then most.Only thing that could make it better is LTE but dont let that draw you away, this is a SOLID phone.

Nothing really other then no LTE but this is a fast phone if your in AT&T's 4G area although it can be very hard to find a good 4G signal depending on where you live.

This phone seems to have been released with little to no fanfare. It is a very solid device and you can't beat the $49-$99 price (with 2 year contract).

Speed / responsiveness
Notification light (yes, it has one)
Battery life (compared to other Androids)

I switched from Verizon to AT&T recently and was hoping to find a phone that could be comparable to my beloved DroidX. I was shopping around and could of stayed with Verizon and just did what I usually would do and get the upgrade to the Bionic. But me and Verizon were not seeing eye to eye on my bill one too many times. LOL So off I went a shopping. I looked at Sprint and since I have always owned Motorola phones I was very interested in the Photon. But when I went to the AT&T store the Atrix2 was peaking my curiousity. I just jumped in with 2 feet and the water was just right. It is truly a great phone. It does everything that my old DroidX used to do but faster. It has a better camera and camcorder by far. The front facing camera is dope! Very cool and looking forward to using it with all the applications I can. It may not be as fast as the Bionic but that is because I am running on a fake 4G system at AT&T. But it is plenty fast and I'm not tripping. Battery life is surperb and watching videos on this thing rocks hard! Very nice TRUE 1080HD, I know my DroidX was supposedly that but I definitely can tell that the Atrix2 has superior clarity and quality.
Pros:
Well, its a Motorola product #1
Its all around a solid product #2
Smooth as a slick functionality #3
Nice balance of speed, reponsiveness
and design #4
Cons:
Doesn't run on LTE but whatever....
4.5 isn't perfect but there is very little need for improvement.
Atrix 2

Not worth the upgrade from the Atrix 4G. Sure you are allowed to use the HDMI port as it should be, for mirroring the screen which is not allowed on the original Atrix. That is about the only positive change worth mentioning. NO VIDEO SKYPE, NO HULU, NO FINGER PRINT SCANNER and the hdmi cable has to be bought seperate. Also, battery doesn't seem to last as long and less internal storage.
The Atrix 2 is a step down from its predecessor

I previously owned the Atrix 4G. It had all of the quirky features you expect in an Android phone. It had an HDMI port, a fingerprint scanner, a snappy processor, etc.
I was excited for the release of the Atrix 2. It was supposed to have all of the goodies from the original with a few improvements. However, the fingerprint scanner was removed. The HDMI port still was available, but I had to buy my own cable to use it.
The interface was cheap-looking by comparison to the upgraded interface the Atrix 4G received with Android 2.3.4.
The touted screen improvement didn't do much for the phone. While apps and web browsing look passable now, videos are stretched across the 960 x 540 resolution, making them look skewed and pixelated.
The original Atrix 4G came with 16 GB of onboard storage capacity. The Atrix 2 supposedly has 8 GB. However, the onboard storage cannot be accessed when plugged into a computer. Even the apps I've downloaded don't seem to use it. Rather they are installed to my external microSD card!
The phone's battery is awful. I wouldn't consider myself a heavy user. I check my email, read the news, and occasionally play a game. I have to charge the phone two or three times a day.
If you're the kind of person who would consider swapping out batteries, good luck getting the back off of the phone. It is a molded rubber back that has to be pried from the case.
As for performance, the Atrix 2 does respond quickly to commands. Very rarely did it lag. However, apps frequently force quit while being used. Other apps like Hulu Plus aren't even compatible with the device.
In summary, if you need a cheap phone, rarely have your phone away from a charger, and prefer using other devices for watching videos, the Atrix 2 is your phone.
Fantastic!

The Motorola Atrix was a superb device when it was released earlier in the year. Now, an even better phone for a cheaper price! Faster dual core 1Ghz TI processor, larger 2.3 TRUE QHD LCD Display, and a better 8mp camera that records in 1080p. This phone has really stepped up it's game! It's only $99 with a 2 year contract from AT&T!
