Was Good but JB killed it now LOL

Oh well was good until they updated from ICS to Jelly Bean and I truly think it was the update that ruined this cell.
Previously it was fine for me in midrange cells like the HTC ONE V but the Update made the cell MUCH SLOWER IN BENCHMARKS, USAGE AND NOW IT HAS RANDOM REBOOT ISSUES.
I sent it back to Virgin and got a New Boxed one with JB already formatted on it and it was still no good with reboots and occasional freezes.
So I figured send it to Samsung and they will take care of me LOL! After TWO CONSECUTIVE REPAIRS IT STILL HAS PROBLEMS and they claim its Virgin software add ons doing this. Nobody seems to care now especially Virgin. They should've stayed with ICS since it was stable but unless rooted good luck.
But the screen is fine and Benchmark for CPU is about 1650 and is IDENTICAL to Samsung Ring internally except for ram. Why do they always mess up your phone and then expect YOU to pay for a new one! Virgin serves the JB Update and Ring has the EXACT same problems now too.
Using Performance Benchmarks lets you see EXACTLY where these cells fit in the power and performance range. You can download the Passmark Test from Google Play yourself and run several for an average.

This is my third 'Droid and it rocks! Has a high tech feel like iphone but without iphone problems. If you're service provider (Virgin for me) can use this phone & arent hyped bout oversized phone screen, Get It!
Pros:
Great Display, Easy Navigation, Front facing camera takes great pics! Many apps available, Very customizable, Convenient "push in" Sd card holder on the side
Cons:
Need to get bigger Gb card, Slippery Case (dropped few times but no scratches, dents)
Samsung, you did it again!

Good Entry Level Samsung Phone

Despite the small size of this phone, it suits me just fine. The touchscreen is fairly responsive, though occasionlly the system gets stuck on a task and the 'back' and 'home' buttons become unresponsive until the phone can catch up. Occasionally (at least twice a day) the lock screen wouldn't respond and I'd have to reboot the phone. Apparently this was a common concern and I tried all of the online tips and tricks to get it to work. Nothing worked until I did a system update. Haven't had an issue with it since.
It's a little frustrating to not be able to move apps to the SD card without an app. This is something I'm just now experiencing as my phone has finally started to give me the "Memory Full" alert. The phone casing is also pretty slippery but I haven't had much trouble with it. A case probably wouldn't hurt. Another concern is the wi-fi. Occasionally I'll connect to wi-fi at a place and, when I leave, I'll shut the wi-fi feature off on my phone. Then later, while I'm driving, somehow wi-fi will kick back on again and alert me to signals in the area. It's more annoying than problematic.
I installed a swiftkey keyboard on my phone and it seems to work just fine. The only problem I would say there is with having a phone this "small" is when it comes to using the keyboard. On a screen like this, everytime the keyboard pops up, over half the screen is taken up. If you've got the phone sideways, the entire screen is taken up. Makes typing a pain when you can't see what you're typing.
I haven't rooted my phone, but there are times I consider it because there are too many apps on this phone I just never use. But overall, this is a good entry level smartphone. The bluetooth version is just about compatible with everything. The android version is compatible with almost every application. The call quality is fine, the notification tones are loud enough. It's a good phone, you just have to take care of it.
