I have had this phone for two weeks. This is my first Windows phone; I have previously owned Android phones & have played around a bit on an iPhone. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like the Windows operating system.
CONS: battery life is not great and it takes much
. longer to charge than my son's iPhone or
. husband's android. Also if I'm using it while
. it's charging it still loses charge, unlike their
. phones.
. The camera takes nice enough pictures, but
. the shutter speed is way too slow. Not
. good since my pictures are primarily of my
. kids. On the flip side, there are several lens
. apps to download for the camera that help
. somewhat & have fun features.
. Not as many apps available as iPhone or
. Android, but I'm sure that will even out
. down the road.
PROS: Kids Corner. Fabulous feature. I can pin
. apps & games for my kids to use. Once in
. Kids Corner they can't get back to my stuff,
. or make in-app purchases or delete
. pics from my albums.
. The customizable tiles on the home screen
. are great. I have what I use more frequently
. readily available, but it's just one swipe over
. to get to other apps.
. I like the predictive text. It even guesses at
. my next word.
. Speaking of texts, the emoticons available
. are fun & there are lots to choose from
Overall I am very satisfied with this phone & look forward to using it for the next 2 years. (now that part stinks, but that's a different matter ðŸËÅ )
