This device was issued to me by my employer. It lives Up to its rugged claims. The interface and style are all old school. This phone has several features that remind me of Nextel.
The phone has customizable profiles, just like old IDEN phones did. The chirp sounds exactly like Nextel, unlike my Kyocera, which sounds like a reproduction at high volumes.
PROS: Good, basic bar-style phone. Good call quality, loud speakerphone.
Rugged
Works like a Nextel
Good phone tools
Smooth operation
CONS: Ringers are too low, but the device is capable of playing very loud ones if downloaded.
The PTT button is way too small.
Rigid UI. some customization is possible, but nowhere near the old Motos.
Texting interface is actually worse than before. My old Tundra had a better Texting client (albeit slower).
