the size feel shape keyboard and all that bears close resemblence to the previous and mother models of the old school bb are very nice including many features of the new OS such as great grahics&video along with an hdmi port and a decent speaker when listening to Pandora (excuse me Apollo -- which sucks btw). However, i do not like the fact that there are no dedicated buttons such as call/end, back and the forever awesome and truely unique bb option button (who the hell decided to get rid of that? -- idiot ) i am no champion user of phones nor am i near close to a know-it-all when it comes to OS's and notable or knowledgeable on the plethera of apps that are around every corner of each market but i have been with the same company for over 10 years and have been a user of just about every phone Sprint has offered including pretty much every blackberry from the track wheel version to the current so i am pretty well versed at what a little above average user uses, needs and wants in their phone. i am heavy on email for business as well as txt msg and really cannot understand the benefit of the "hub" and "swipe" its rather annoying and sometimes want to go back or just hit the end button once or twice to put me back to my home screen not to mention sound and reception stinks and the screen sucks when trying to view outside. to close i would like to see if i can get some fedback on the useability of this phone and how i can better acclimate it to my extreme desire to remain 'ol school. Also does anyone else have the problem of placing the phone down and having it shut down and reset (often w/o even having to put it down as well) O and why no telenav or scout?!! total BS in my estimation.

New Blackberry Q10 - BB's getting it right!

Well, l have only had this little phone for just a week, but I really have to say that I am pleasently surprised.

In a world that favors the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy's, it seemed to me that Blackberry would soon become extinct!

NOT SO!

This little phone has it all! Touch Screen (super-fast response on the Verizon Network); and keyboard.
It feels solid and easier to use than I expected. There is never a lag on the browser or any of the apps I have downloaded.

Call quality - superb!
Battery life - outstanding
picture / video - for a BB, it does the job better than I expected; not grainy.

I wish it came with more ringtones, since the selection is a little wanting, but you can download the app for ringtones and take it from there.

The only, thing is...they need to hurry up with the 'catch-up' on the apps portion. Apple and Samsung have BB beat there, but, I have been told that BB is working night and day to get their apps up to par. I still can go on to the browser and get what I need. I especially enjoy the accuray of having a keyboard even if it does take up space where the Z10 is completely touch.

I would highly recommend this phone. Give it a try, it will NOT let you down!
