Was with Att and was paying $80/month and needed a change. Came to Metropcs and got LG Motion. A great Phone was paying $40/month and was moderately happy. Didnt get service everywhere like I used to with Att, but would work in most places and I was ok..........Then comes Tmobile merger, and the "Deal"

Buy new GSM Phone and pay only $25/month. So I Got LG Optimus F3. Bigger than my motion, but so much better....if you like LG Motion, you will love LG Optimus.

I always have network, either on Metro Network, Either on Tmobile network or on Wifi. Phone does WiFI calling, so its awsome if you are out of the country and need to call USA.

Screen is lot Bigger, as big as iphones..but smaller than few andriod phones

smooth and soft touch screen, great features and widgets with jellybean OS

no complains....oh and I charge my battery every other day....it last that long

Also got complements from iphone users on pictures taken from my phone.

Pros: Battery Life, Touch Screen, OS, WiFi Calling for out of the country calling, SD Card Slot...sweet Camera, it goes on and on...you just gotta try the phone

Cons: need to come across one, and I will write about it....Promise!!!

**Updated Cons:
too limited app storage. Initially I though it would be enough, but after you get your Facebook, couple of banks, your messaging apps like what's app, and your couple of radios like Pandora, and productivity apps like mint, and what not, you are done. no more storage for apps, have to uninstall something if you want to even try a new app out.

But having said that. This was definitely a great phone otherwise. Still great battery life, still top notch network. no longer using wifi calling because when you are in car and get home, the phone detects home wifi, and connects to it automatically. Great !!!, but if you have wifi calling feature on, it will switch the calling to wifi calling, and it would drop the call in the process to make the switch.

I have had the new Optimus F3 for a but over a week now, and it is WONDERFUL... I was still using a flip phone, primarily for durability, but my new job has management that are texting and email fanatics, and frankly couldn't keep up with them on a flip phone.

Phone is slightly larger than an iPhone 4S (which I almost had, except Verizon still wouldn't unlock it), but not quite as large as a Galaxy.

Taken a few pics with it so far, and a short video, and the resulting pics/vids are splendid. It turns on the flash during video, when it needs to, and uses the flash on cams for low-light...you can manually control the lighting/flash if you'd like.

Overall, a great phone, I am a techie, so I caught onto it very quickly, some of the features may be skittle confusing to non-tech people..

If you're going for your first smartphone, and want something affordable, yet powerful, this is the phone for you! ($150 from MetroPCS, $40 a month for unlimited talk and txt, with 500mb data (I have a separate hotspot, I don't need wireless data), and $5/month for insurance that will REPLACE the phone (after a $40 deductible) if you smash it or get it wet.
