This is a SOLID phone. If you're looking for speed, amazing pictures and flawless UI operating system, this is it.

Only thing I would change is the back cover can be slippery since its metal. Other wise great phone. Amazing battery and screen. Motorola...you did a great job here!

I have had a Moto G, Moto X 1st gen and now this one, a Moto X 2nd gen. Sadly Motorola have missed the mark on this phone series. I have had horrible Bluetooth issues with all of the phones listed above making my Bluetooth headset basically unusable.

They appear to be using the same antenna for both the WiFi and the Bluetooth. I will just be driving down the road with the WiFi is on and randomly I get horrible distortion on my headset. Even after trying 3 different Headsets I still have the same issue.

My latest attempt to fix this was the Moto X 2nd Gen and still, I have the same problem. My work around was to use an app to make it easier to shut off the WiFi and it sort of worked.

Then the world ended. 3 days into using a brand new Moto X 2nd Gen I ran the battery down to about 14%. I plugged it in and let it charge over night only to find out the next morning that somehow the phone had managed to brick itself and would not start up.

An hour on the phone with Motorola they gave up and had me send it back. They are going to take care of this but honestly, it is time to go back to Samsung.

The moto x 2014 is the perfect combination of hardware, software, and ease of use! It is very nice to hold in the hand and the screen is just the right size!

I love everything about this phone except the battery life. Coming from the Droid Maxx with 3500mAh to 2300mAh is a rather cruel drop. I had hoped that they would have maximized the battery to last longer, but no matter what I try, it doesn't last the whole day. It is fast, the screen is beautiful, the camera is better than most, but for me the deal breaker is the battery. That's all I'm going to say without getting weepy about returning this. Will wait for the next Droid (I've had them all) and hope it's what I'm looking for. The Moto X does charge fast and is capable of turbo charging 15 minutes for 8 hours, but the charger isn't available yet (Oct. 1, 2014).
