This mid-range Windows Phone is a solid addition to Verizon's smartphone lineup. It boasts a 4.7-inch screen, 6.7-megapixel camera, and quad-core Snapdragon processor. Toss in Microsoft's productivity apps and good battery life, and the Lumia 735 is a balanced performer. Is anything holding this phone back? Find out in Phone Scoop's in-depth report. read review ›

Cute little orphan phone

Pros:
Size: The phone's footprint is rather small; great if you hate phablets.
Front camera: That front camera is a beast! I was pleased with its photos.
Cons:
Rear camera: The rear camera is 6.7MP, so while I can't really complain, MS should have done better.
Signal: Nokia used to be RF kings... somewhere down the line, they lost the belt. Signal is slightly worse than my Note 4 (I'm in Northern Florida)
Windows Phone: The lack of apps is what ultimately drove me to sell it. Developers are either not developing apps or are taking longer to bring it to WP. Heck, it did not even have the Verizon Messages app in the MS store.
