decent phone, not waterproof

PROs:
-solid feel
-great battery life
-built in step tracker, all the new normal bells and whistles.
-high contrast mode makes it very easy to read the screen in bright sunlight outdoors
-Efficient warranty service: I mailed in on Monday, saw status update Thursday that they found water damage and they had mailed it back the same day. I expect to have my broken phone back in my arms by next week some time!
CONs:
-definitely not waterproof - made it's way into a pool at a height of 4 feet maximum for no more than 5 minutes and took on water damage. Seems to hold up well as the back button is defective now but the rest of the phone appears to be working. Androids are difficult to manipulate without a back button (though not impossible). Samsung will not warranty the device and did not pressure test it to see if it stood up to the IPX67 spec. fairly disappointed.
-no removable battery, which I was willing to trade in on if I had a waterproof phone (which I did not get)
Summary: Your mileage may vary, but I was disappointed to find that it easily took on water, especially after watching other videos of the phones photographing in fish tanks, etc. Warranty process was fast but utterly useless with no phone communication. Found water damage and had it shipping back to me the same day.

I've had the Galaxy S6 Active for 3 weeks now coming from a Note 4. It really beats the N4 in every category except the lack if expandable storage.
call quality is great. Reception excellent. The speaker phone sounds very full. Compared to my Note 4, it's world's above in quality of sound.
It's already had a small software update and battery seems even better. Again I've had the LG G2, Note 4, Xperia Z3..the S6 active almost doubles them.
Pro's
Battery life-Unmatched! Seriously nothing comes close. 6 hour's of screen on time. Nothing disabled or modded, with Gmail, exchange mail, Facebook all the crap doing it's thing.
Display-So bright and accurate.
NO NEED FOR A CASE. The body of the phone is waterproof, dust proof, and has some kind of military rating.
Cons
No expandable storage. Limited to 32GB
