Lightweight and basic

I got this phone through Verizon to replace a dying Kyocera 2325. In my opinion, it is not nearly as good as the 2325. I returned it after 3 days and switched to the Nokia 7015.

Pros:
Small, very lightweight.

I suppose the flashlight function could be of some use if I didn't already carry a key chain flashlight.

The phone can be programmed to beep occasionally if a call is missed.

Decent clarity and volume - good reception.

Cons:
Very weak vibrate mode and ringer volume won't go up that loud either.

Can't vibrate and ring simultaneously but can vibrate then ring.

Screen is cluttered with too many details for a quick glance to read menus - old 2345 was much clearer

All considered... not bad

This is a baseline phone with some chrome accents to give an up-level appearance. As a phone I'd vote EXCELLENT, great reception, few dropped calls, great clarity and reception. When I have to take a conference call, I skip my TMBL samsung or ATT Nokia, this phone makes me sound like I'm in the office.

Like the Samsungs, the menu org., ringtones and priority of the software borders between juvenile and armature.

This phone was a company giveaway to the masses. I didn't expect much and angled to upgrade 'till I tried the phone. At the end of the day ('cause it's not a flip), it isn't as cool looking but works better than the Moto and Samsg upgrades I turned down.

I'll start i reverse order with the CONS:

Screen graphics: can't be read at a glance. too many italics and crammed together stuff. Looks great when studied, not practical in traffic or daylight. Otherwise a good display

ringtones: Junk, juvenile, beginner, easily mistaken for elevator music, not heard. KYO: PLEASE just give me a basic 10 year old monophonic ring ring to get the job done, this is a base phone for old bus. people, not everyone is going to connect and download to get something acceptable!

Sizd/Weight: A little "oval" for my taste but good. Light, maybe a lot of plastic but a smart choice. Not quite as compact as some Nokia but tight, flat and light.

Battery life: Great. Lasts for days unless the keys get pressed in my briefcase and light the display.

Phonebook: Search function groups by the three alpha on each key. Great for small books, not practical w/ numerous entires ("Laura" follows all J & K w/ no skipping to "L").

Bottom Line: If your priority is a phone that works, clarity, doesn't drop calls: grab this in a second! Something so light shouldn't work this well.

If you are finicky about function, menus, display and need speaker phone or mobile web, keep looking.

A VERY basic phone.

PROS:
-Flashlight
-Pretty loud ringtones
-Headset works well

CONS:
-Reception is weaker than other phones
-Very small screen

Basically if you want a really entry level phone, then you won't be disappointed by this little gadget but if you want the hi-end stuff.. this is definitely not it.

this phone is a very nice but ugly phone. It has a loose antenna(even replacements, very easy to break)
