read the title. the game SNAKE II is the best thing this phone has. everything else i'd vote off as cons.
Been a while I had it

Let's see, it has been for over four years I had this phone. Was overall pleased with it. With it's greatest disadvantage its size.
But, I live in europe and had the european version with the "matrix and it was unbelievable fun. And you think it would break down fast... Nokias were a lot better build than those days...
Frustrating Service

Was planning to originally buy the Nokia 8290, but saw this and "had to have it". I think my problems were not just the phone, but also Cingular's crappy service in the SF Bay Area. I have used this phone in Chicago, Phoenix, Denver and Montreal without any problems. In San Francisco, I have calls constantly dropped and others complain that the sound quality sounds like I am underwater. That Cingular stopped selling this phone after 2 weeks should be an indicator. And Cingular will not replace the phone, even though they know there are problems with it and their network.
This phone replaced a 5160. I love the sync software- I retired my Palm and use the IR port on my laptop to sync Outlook. Friends are amazed to see I can beam contacts to and from my phone and their Palms.
Battery life was good, but I bought an aftermarket li-ion battery and can charge up once a week. Sure beats the Nextel phone I had at my last job.
Wish there was a local provider that supported this phone effectively. As it is, I'll be dropping Cingular soon and probably going back to ATT as I can better reception.
