Sprint in rural areas

I want to say that for all those who say sprint doesn't work there I got a few words for you! I left I95 in NC onto US 13 and there is nothing there at all. But my phone worked the whole way! My buddies verizon phone went extended network 5 miles off the interstate. Not saying sprints better just they do work off the interstate!

Phone suggestion

I currently have Cingular, and in an effort to cut cost, my brother is going to add me to his business plan. Supposedly he is somehow getting every line he adds free, dont ask me how.

I talk to him and my sister in law and my mom the most who have sprint, and i use about 300 of my 450 cingular minutes and pay about 52.00 to cingular.

I was thinking about the Fusic. Its the most attractive phone i see on the sprint website with the best features. How is the phone? How is the sound quality in the earpiece? Thanks.

Sprint is earning high marks with me !

😁 Granted I am a new Sprint customer BUT I am very pleased with Sprint coverage & service, CSR's and the website. I am very critical of "service providers" and aside from a few aggravations, I am getting superior service from Sprint and I am extremely pleased with the wealth of information on the website !

I have doodled around the site for several days now (about 3 hours on the site) and have found needed information on service, support, phone features and overall Sprint services.

This has proven to be an investment in time that will propel Sprint into my personal "highly satisfied category" which not many vendors get that rating from me (I'm a demanding hard-ass).

My conversion from Nextel to Sprint which included porting my ce...

Sprint Close to WiMax Equipment Deal with Nokia

Sprint
Written by Humberto Saabedra
Friday, 29 December 2006
Several media outlets have reported that Sprint is imminently closing a deal for Nokia to become its third choice for its WiMax network as a network equipment provider. If this deal is announced, Sprint would have the three largest handset manufacturers (Samsung and Motorola being announced in the summer at a press conference in New York.) on board, leading to cost and price control of the new devices. The deal is expected to be announced next week. Others competing to supply Sprint with WiMax equipment are Alcatel-Lucent of France, Nortel Networks of Canada, and both ZTE Corp. and Huawei Technologies Co. of China. Sprint is aiming to start WiMax service in test markets...

Sprint not as bad as i thought

I've had Sprint for almost a year and couldn't be more satisfied, i came from two years of Cingular before that, i dropped them because they got rid of their unlimited web access plan. I was skeptical about choosing Sprint due to reading bad reviews and hearing ppl tell me stuff like "don't get sprint, they ruined my credit, they charged me 400 dollars for nothing and bla bla...Those are the ppl that don't read the little brochure they give you stating that certain charges occur for certain things. But i had a trial period so it wouldn't matter anyways. I started out with out with the samsung a740. It was a nice phone. It picked up a signal where my old phone failed and the calls were so clear. My phone has been cut off but only beca...

Sprint Fan Boy Comment

Okay so I "have" to get a Verizon phone, not for better coverage (not that they even have coverage here) or anything like that, just something coming up that will require it. I absolutely abhore all Verizon phones. The only thing I would dare get is the Treo 700p maybe the Smasung A990, even then the 990 has the Verizon UI.

Brew will kill me. I can't stand it. I am going to get free service and am dreading it. Capped data here I come. *snore

Sprint to retire their Fair & Flexible Plans next month...

Well people, it looks like the Fair & Flexible wireless plans of Sprint Nextel Inc. are going to be taking a permanent dirt nap in January 2007 by removing the $5.00 per 30 minutes overage and replacing the overage with a flat rate tiered to the specific wirlesss plan. This inforamtion was discovered by Christopher Price, the forum moderator of Phones News, through internal Sprint documents. For those who are firewalled from viewing the actual article at http://www.phonenews.com/content/view/1694/1/

here's the article...

any more information??

Anyone have anymore info on the Libra? Specifically, is it a Smartphone or Pocket PC. That's what's going to be a deciding factor between the 700wx and the Libra.

savings@sprint.com

the email address savings@sprint.com on SERO site still lets you look at the phones and rate plans. Does this mean its now permanent and you don't need an actual employee email?
also, hwo would you sign up for a SERO plan in store? Can you port your number to a SERO plan online? thanks
