Hello all...so I walked into a VZW store (corporate) and wanted to buy a new Cosmos 3 for my girlfriend. Her's is dying, keyboard not functioning properly, etc. It's pretty old.

Anyway, her kids (she's on a family plan) used all the upgrades. She's got close to 2 years left before she can get an upgrade deal. The only option was to buy a brand new Cosmos 3...full retail...$200!!!

So I was thinking of buying one -- new -- in the aftermarket, primarily via ebay. Is this a good idea? If so, how can I assure that I buy the phone, look to activate it with Verizon, keeping her same/old phone number, and that it will work?

Do I have any options here? I would love to buy her a new Cosmos 3 for Christmas, but I can't really see spending $200...

These new upcoming Verizon phones 2015 are smartphones from various companies such as Samsung and Motorola also Nokia. Unlike, Sprint and T-Mobile they mostly have to similar smartphones, for example if we take new upcoming Sprint phones in 2015 we obviously notice that they have phones coming out from single community which is Nokia. I had a Droid Razr and got hold of a Droid Razr Maxx. I work for ATT and reasoned that simply switching SIM cards while having phones off would activate the MAXX.
I did the swap carefully and yes now 12 hrs later the MAXX is running beautifully and with no hiccups.
My wife seems to think I have to inform Verizon of the switch as it could cause trouble if I dont. I dont see the need really so that is my question? Does V really need to know and why?

I am looking for a good phone to use as my hotspot. I am having trouble with a Samsung Charge staying connected it shows everything is good but has to often be restarted. I know the charge is junk but it says plugged in most of the time so I didn't care about the battery life. I have an old grandfathered data plan and this is my only way of internet as Cable or DSL is not in my area just Hughes Net and other Sat providers. I am like a mile away from any internet. I even actually pay the extra money for the unlimited hotspot and don't ever care to use a 3rd party app to do that. I just want to know the best older phone to use that will work good for the hotspot feature. Any help would be great.

I was hoping to find a Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal on a Samsung Galaxy S5, but the only ones out there are with a new contract. I'm grandfathered in with unlimited data, so I'm not touching my contract or my upgrade. My next phone will be full retail. All S5's that I can find for Verizon are still $599 or higher. Why no holliday discount? ☹️

I see on VZW with the NFL Mobile app you can watch live games for a monthly fee or if you're on a everything share plan.

You can download the app to any smartphone on any other carrier. But my question is can you get the live games??

On my VZW smartphone it will give me a preview of a live game then come up and say to continue it's $5.99/month.

On my TMO smartphone the NFL Mobile app just plays highlights, no live local game.
Making me think to watch your local live game is only possible on VZW with the NFL Mobile app?

My wife and I current have a grandfathered family plan with unlimited data. Is the new promo 2 lines, unlimited talk and text and 10gb of data for $110? I thought that's what the commercial said. How does it work with my 19% employee discount? We currently have note 3s...if we switch can we save our upgrade promotion? Hello all. I'm new to this forum, and I joined to see if some one with the Gzone Boulder can help me with software. I purchased my Boulder on line. The add for the phone said that it was fully functional. When I activated the phone in my account, I found that I could not use the functions such as, get it no, or back up assistant, or even modify photos, because it lacked the latest software. I took the phone to verison and they told me that the last software update was no longer available through their store. I cannot believe that in this technological day and time, that I cannot update this phone, so that it works to its full potential. Is ther someone out there who can help me 🙂

I am just looking for some opinions or perhaps a personal experience; I know it comes down to my choice and all but I've really reached a point that I want to hear from some "real" people and perhaps some words of guidance.
