I have a Verizon 3G/4G wireless Hot Spot device as there is no Comcast or DSL where I live (Northern California Coast). The problem with the Verizon Hot Spot card is that Verizon doesn't advise you in any of their literature that the device must be turned off when it's not being used or you will be continually sent data (that you haven't requested) and will be billed for it.

I learned this after the first two months of using this card. I only use it for emails and minor web surfing. No youtube or any other video downloads, no internet radio live feeds... just marginal data usage.

I have Verizon, and currently have 10 months left with my Samsung galaxy nexus phone. I use garmins smartphone link with my GPS. What phones should I be looking at in the meantime that have great Bluetooth links for this feature? I don'tcare that much about games.

When the Samsung Galaxy S5 came out it took them a week to add the phone like it didn't exist yet.

Now that the LG G3 is out it will probably take them a week or so to mention it.

Well, I am looking to replace my HTC Incredible. I would go for the Iphone if it were capable of simultaneous voice and data like every other 4GLTE phone on Verizon. It looks lite either the Samsung Galaxy 5 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

I have an ATT iPhone 5S that I unlocked, same model number of the Verizon iPhone 5S. But when I go to activate it it says 'No Service' and it won't allow me to activate online either. I'm just swapping my nano SIM from my Droid Maxx to the iPhone 5S, I figured it should work. Thought that was the point of the iPhone 5S being the same across most carriers here in the US.

I have two NOTE2's under a 2 year Contact that I am about 5 months into. One of my NOTES got dropped and shattered the glass. The LCD works fine, but I am too lazy to replace the glass.

I was looking at $200 ~$300 UNLOCKED phone option. I would totally go with a NEXUS 4 or NEXUS 5, but they are not CDMA, only GSM.

Now that I use my iPhone for business and I talk more on it than ever I have made some findings about Verizon and my iPhone that discuss me.
1. I can't disconnect the second caller of a conference call without disconnecting the first caller. This isn't good for business.
2. My iPhone 5 won't allow me to view my call history when I'm on an active call. Really? This is a simple task that my $600 phone won't perform.

I went through 2 flip phones from Verizon within the past year and they both broke on me and have bad call quality. Is there a different phone I can buy on like eBay or a 3rd party site that will work with Verizon and is reliable (will last at least 2 years without malfunctioning or degrading in quality) with good call quality?

I have a question about the new International texting that was just introduced. The ad says unlimited outgoig text to other countries. Do you have to be on a certin plan or is this a feature and what is the cost for incoming text?

Once upon a time, things were simple. If I chose to upgrade online it was easy. I just logged into My Verizon, ordered a phone and when it arrived, i merely called the phone number and chose option two to accept the contract terms but activate the phone later. It's not so easy these days. I call the activation line and there is no option for activation later. I was given the option to activate the phone on the line I upgraded or another line on my account however. This is really a pain.
