I saw a new Audiovox camera phone on the website over the weekend but it's gone now

I was paying my wireless bill on the VZ web site Saturday.

Since my phone is 2 years old I was looking for a new phone. I had already heard about the LX6000 and then saw an Audiovox camera phone.

Now I didn't pay too much attention to the model number (it's in my history page on home computer) but I did do a compare against the 6000.

It didn't list any movie camera capability just regular pictures.

I went to the website today for my area code and the Audiovox isn't listed anymore.

New Palm OS phone offered soon?

I'd like to get a Palm OS from VSW like the Samsung i500 or Treo 600. I think the Samsung i600 and Kyocera are too big. Any info on if these phones may be offered soon?

Color Display Quality

I just checked out the new LG 4500, and was quite impressed -- much thinner and sleeker than LG normally produces. Unfortunately, like the Samsung a530, this phone also has STN display.

How hard is it to view an STN display in direct sunlight? Is it worth it to wait for a thin phone with TFT (knowing Verizon, that might be 2 years)?

I'm rather upset that the Samsung a500 for Sprint, which is probably over two years old now, offered TFT in a stylish and ultra-slim package.

How important is STN vs. TFT for a display? Years ago, it was critically important to get a TFT notebook computer display.

I'd appreciate any thoughts.

LG VX6000

I have an LG VX 6000 that keeps entering manner mode and will not ring. Can anyone help me. I know I can press the * key to get it out of that mode but it goes back some time during the day. 🙂

Ringtone site for Verizon users

myPhoneFiles.com works with Verizon now. Ringtones, voicetones, pictures, and voicetones making program (http://myPhoneFiles.com/software) all work with LG VX6000 and Audiovox CDM 8900 (or is it 9800😕). Those are the only two phone that tested ok so far, but chances are other will work too. 😎

Termination

Well Big Poppa. It seems you are not smart enough to use the spell check before you post.
You should fit right in at Dell, but check your application with spell check first or learn to spell.
Now we see why you only made $12.00 an hour for Verizon. Are you not the same guy who stated over and over that you work for Verizon but use and like the Sprint phone and network better? And you called yourself a good and loyal employee. We think not.

More Information regarding my termination from VZW

This just in..

Recieved a call from my ex-supervisor today, regarding my termination.

Seems now Corporate Security had to change around thier story. The NEW reason as to why I was terminated has to deal with me representing myself as a Verizon Wireless Employee on here, and giving out the information on the phones, Which they now say was public information, and because I was posting to the forum during company time (which by the way I was told was ok as long as it did not interfere with my taking calls).
Seems as though Verizon Wireless will make up any story as long as it make them in the right and protects their ass.

They said also said something to do with it being ok to give out the information I did to customers, as long as th...

Tired of it

I'm tired of most of the Verizon customers with inexpensive phones thinking it is a crime to want a phone with everything on it. I signed up for Verizon for their service. It is the best by far and I have had AT&T's digital, AT&T's GSM, and have seen Sprint & T-Mobile operate in areas I use my Verizon. They all fail in comparison to service. I do agree that these companies disguise their crappy service with great phones & deals. But having great service shouldn't stop verizon from having great phones. Already being a provider of something great is not an excuse for not being a provider of something greater. I'm not bashing all the phones on Verizon. I'm sure most of the inexpensive ones work for just the regular user, but I am the type of pe...

Using a vx6000 in NC area

I am close to switching from AWS to VZW. Trying to decide between dual mode 6000 and a tri-mode 4400. If anyone travels around eastern NC at all and has experience can you let me know if the 6000 works ok or not.

Samsung i600??

This phone gets alot of bad press, but I still interested. A couple of questions:

Has the caller ID bug been worked out?

Does the '04 version have the '03 OS?

Will the Blackberry agreement effect this phone or is it set just for future Samsung phones?

Verizon Training

How long are Verizon reps trained for before they take calls from customers? 2 days? Because i heard 2 days and i just want to hear the truth because that robbie guy was bitching that you guys are trained longer. I work for AWS and we are trained for 6 weeks, and still some of the reps cant do the job 😁 HAHA! Those people make work fun im telling ya. But we also have great reps. Just like any company. So how long is it. or they change it often?

What is coming from Verizon?

Anyone have any ideas? My T720 is on its last legs and I am looking for a full-featured phone. Like the Samsung Microsoft phones, but one is too big (PocketPC) and the other doesn't have a stylus or keypad (Smartphone). Any ideas when something new in this area is coming? I have no need for a camera...

Thanx in advance!!!
