Cingy Stores=GREAT! TMobile Stores=GROSS!!

So i have to say that for the two major GSM carriers, Cingy has better stores. I went to a TMo store with my friend a few weeks ago and it was a horrible experience. At the TMo store, they had hardly any live phones for you to check out. They were mostly those faux, plastic phones. They did have a FEW working models, but they were bolted down. The store i visited was in a nice area of town.... I might expect this from a ghetto location, but not where i was at. When you ask to look at a live phone, they look at you like crazy & watch you like a hawk. If you decide not to go with the phone you looked at, they treat you really crappy for wasting their time. I love Cingy stores ciz everything is LIVE and NOT bolted down. They have decent tether...

Where to get Insurance for SE W810i???

I got 2 W810i's last week and me and fiance both love our new phones...

However, I am wondering if anyone has found a decent source for insuring their W810i since Cingular won't cover it.

So far, I have found www.mobileprotech.com, but I don't really know anything about them, or about any other campanies that may be out there.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

International Roaming? S710a

Hey,

I'm currently in London with a cingular locked s710a. I called cingular and activated international roaming. However, when I turn on my phone, I have no service. No service, no data service either. Are there settings I need to adjust? Does the UK use a band the s710a doesn't have? Please help! Thank you!

another quick question

I currently have the pay per use media net feature on my account and the 19.99 text messaging package with 3000 messages. I went to add a small media net package and was told I can only do that with a bundle pack when I called care. The problem with that is I will lose 2000 texts. Is this completely true? Is there no stand alone media net package for minimal use type customers who dont want to hae to worry about pay per use?

Asking for your some opinions.

Just a quick question.

I have heard rumblings of the impending 8525 drop anywhere from the end of Sep (which obviously didn't happen) all the way up till the end of November.

Any who, what I want to know is if the 8525 doesn't drop until late Nov, would I be better off going with the N75 instead (assuming that the N75 would ship late Nov as promised)?

I really don't do a lot of work whilst away from the office, but I really dig the fact that I would be able to use wi-fi to surf the net instead of relying on MediaNet. I was also wondering if the 8525 would be able to play music and/or games, which I know the N75 will most definitely be able to do.

Sorry for the long post. Any input would be appreciated.

Step aside, Nokia. Blackberry in the house!

I've always heard people say that, once you get a Blackberry, you can never go back.

Well, yesterday, I got one for free. I had used one very moderately before, but never as if it was mine. Not even 24 hours I believe I am addicted to Blackberrys, for life.

No wonder why they call them Crackberrys!

Goodbye 6682, it's been a long tenure. Goodbye dreams of buying a w810, your buttons are entirely too small. Goodbye dreams of getting an unlocked e70 from the Nokia store in NY. I think I've found my soulmate.

(Of course this could all change in due time)

The real cost of a trial...

Hey folks,

I am considering running a trial with Cingular. I want to play with some new tech.

When I did this with Sprint, I manged to rack up a pretty hefty bill. I don't blame Sprint, but it was unfortunate.

What are the real costs associated with trialling with Cingular?

ATT Bellsouth Deal Approved by DOJ

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061011/ap_on_bi_ge/at_t ... »

WASHINGTON - The Justice Department approved AT&T's buyout of BellSouth Corp. on Wednesday, clearing a major hurdle for reuniting two modernized parts of the old Ma Bell phone monopoly that the government broke up in 1984.

The decision leaves the Federal Communications Commission as the final hurdle for a $78.5 billion deal to create the nation's biggest provider of phone, wireless and broadband Internet services.

The decision was immediately criticized by FCC member Jonathan S. Adelstein, who called it "a reckless abandonment of DoJ's responsibility to protection competition and consumers."

The FCC is scheduled to vote on the matte...

3G NYC question

ok talk about a HUGE tease .. I live in NJ and talking with a local Cingular store aparently the 3G signal stops about 10 to 15 miles from my area .. which is fustrating .. because I know there going to flood the non big markets first before they expand on there current ones

The Q is . when do you think they will actually start expanding signal of existing areas .. Half the people in my town work in NYC because we have busses and a Ferry (comming soon) there .. I'm tired of paying 59.99 for HAHA BRODBAND speed on my verizon card for my laptop only to get dial up speed .. I mean waiting for photos to load in like when I had my 9600 modem gets pretty annoying

Ive called Verison and they say they dont have to promise the speed .. so yeah ...
