• Everyone starts to believe without seeing any actual proof.

In a post titled: "Forcing Customer's to Migrate to Cingular" someone came up with a fabulous rumor that Cingular would FORCE everyone to migrate their accounts and such because of the relaunch from ATTWS. What do you know, peopple start shaking in their boots because they are gullible dumbasses...

Hey all. I was wondering if anyone had any word on upcoming phone releases on Cingular within the next 3 months, and any anticipated price changes on phones currently available. I'm especially interested in phones with bluetooth that are:

1) Mac OS X compatible so it can be synchronized via iSync to sync calendar, address book, and to do list

2) compatible with Salling Clicker

Any constructive feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello, can anyone explain the differences in the 32k and 64k Sim Cards? I have a 32k now.

So I just got back like a week ago from vacationing in San Francisco. It is such an odd place. I noticed the following:

1. Ipod (almost everyone I saw had one)
2. Mercedes Benz or BMW (the car brand of choice, but the model choice is yours)
3. Bank Of America is EVERYWHERE! (5 ATMs is a row, with lines to each one)
4. Motorola Razr (almost everyone in Chinatown has one!)
5. Cingular Service (it is so obvious who the dominant carrier is in San Francisco)


Is this odd or was I in a giant commercial? 😕

What happened to the $69.99 Cingular Nation Family Talk plan ???? I did not see it on the Cingular website this morning.

In order to get $9.99 secondary lines on Cingular, one would need to have that plan, however, it looks to have been eliminated. Now you would need to get the $84.99 plan.

Any thoughts ??

Hi! My friend is interested in using my unlocked Samsung e715 on the Cingular network. My question is, will it even work? The e715 does not run at all on 850, because it uses T-Mob's 1900...

On my LG 1200 I can get rid of the voicemail message Icon by pressing 7 (or sometimes 77). But it doesn't delete the message. At the end of the vm message when the recording comes on to "press 7 to Delete, 0 for more options", etc., I can press keys until **** freezes over and nothing happens ... then the recording comes back with "Hello - are you still there?"

I have a Moto T720 which I despise... I'm looking for an upgrade phone with Cingular (have quite many minutes banked 🙂 I'd like to get something which would be:

1. Cheap
2. Could hear people on the other end (with my T720 very often the sound volume is too low at the highest setting)
3. Would like to have good reception.

All other things like a phone being a camera, computer, camcorder, etc. are meaningless to me. I think about getting Nokia 6010 but maybe there is something better out there or maybe this phone is not that good?

I checked cingular.com and under My Features it says $7.99 Media Plan. He called me and everything, if only all Cingular Reps were this good. Thank you very much, I truly do appreciate it.

For the record, for anyone who was offended by by "Retards" post, I only posted that online, I was very cordial with the phone reps and I accepted what they gave me. I just vented my frustration online, just said what I couldn't say to some poor rep who couldn't help me. Thanks again for all those who tried to help and stuck up for me.

I have this customer who has been trying to get her phone returned for about 3 weeks. She has gotten the run arounds from every department she has been transferred to and finally ended up with me. So of course after her being on the phone for an hour I tell her I will make sure we find the right people for her to get this phone exchanged. So she tells me she migrated on the phone with an ATTWS rep. So I call our telesales dept and sit on hold with them for half an hour. (Im not letting her go through this again.) Just to be told she isnt showing as having ordered the phone on the phone but on the computer to be put on hold for another half an hour and transferred to web orders where i know sit on hold.......This poor customer and I cant let ...

Morning. Needa little help. I am usually pretty data savy but am having a little trouble. I am trying to use a v.551 via bluetooth with a Tungten T3. The bluetooth connection is created but the T3 will not hit the web. We have a 3 meg data plan on the account. I think we might have put the 3 meg media net, which is intended for browsing as opposed to a true data bucket for tethering. Please advise.

funny story time. Had a customer just call in with a problem with his text messaging. as im checking everything in the systems. I hear this loud noise like beeeeeeerrrrrr. I just thought it was a random background noise to i just continued checking his account and pulling up info on his phone. next thing i know i hear BEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRR! By then i had to hit mute because i was dying laughing. Finally the guy said oh you've got to excuse me i just ate italian and it always does me like this!!! 🤣 Can you imagine being in the room with him??!!

I just got a used Nokia 3120 on ebay. It works great on my ATT network. Well anyway my question. The phone does not have the att or cingular logo on it, and when it start up it has that nokia hand to hand screen ad not att or cingular. Is this because it is an unlocked phone or does it not mean anything. Just curious if the phone is unlocked or not. When I stick my friends cingular sim card in it, it works great also. Thanks for any info.
