Who Hates Doing Adjustment Forms?

Man I hate those things. Becasue it either always gets returned to me or it takes forever for the supervisor to actually make the adjustments. I wish they could just come to your cube look at the account real quick and make the adjustment.

Does anyone else's quota seem too high for the time of year it is? ours is the highest in our area, and we'll all be lucky to hit 75% of our goal.

Import Phone w/ Cingular in NYC???

I'm thinking of picking up a tri-band Panasonic GD55 off of eBay for my sweetheart. Only problem is I'm not sure if it'll work well on Cingular in the NYC area. I'm not very savy with the tech talk so could someone break this down for me:

is CS still split up with Cingular/AWS?

I was working with a customer the other day who had an issue porting his number in. Basically, to make a long story short he called to cancel his service (with ATnT/cingular) and they told him he had 30 days in case he wanted to port his number, but ended up shutting off the service immediately. So, our number port-in failed. I had him on the phone with me, conferenced in with our number transfer center and he said his phone was an ATnT phone that got migrated to a a cingular line. So, we called cingular, and they couldn't find his info, so they told us to call another number, which was ATnT customer care, and they found the info...ended up hanging up on us after he couldn't verify his password, but thats another story lol...I thought it was...

Cingular sent me the wrong phone!

😕 Please help me!
I had acquired a new cell phone through Cingular for my husband to use. I was happy with my SonyE T616 from ATT, but unforunately I damaged it and needed a new phone. I decided to take add another line to my cingular and migrate the ATT number to the new line. Great. I ordered the Motorola V551, but instead they sent me the V220. Well, I didn't realize they had sent me this piece of crap, so I had it activated and when I checked out my bank account the 90 odd dollars was taken out. That seemed a rather low price. An hour after I had it activated I was messing around with it and realized the stupid mistake. So I call and tell them what has happened. I am thinking of getting a Nokia 6620, and I am considering getting one of the media packages... Don't really know how much would the 500KB or the 3MB would give me...

there seems to be alot of stories out there. so if your a care rep, store rep, customer or anyone else in the industry, and have just a really really silly lame funny call or customer/care rep expireince post it! ive a got a few, but cue time is nt that much at the moment so ill post em in a bit.

Problem with plan (adding MMS)

It is too expensive...

Just kidding, I have a nokia 6340i as my phone, well it is the last one I purchased directly from cingular. I am on a GSM/GAIT plan and I primarily use a 7250i which has camera, but I can't seem to add MMS to my plan. I think it is because my phone they have on record, maybe it is my plan. Anyone know? When I bring my 7250i (nokia) to a Cingular store they will not help me because it is not a Cingular phone. I know I not the least difficult customer but any advice is great.

oh yeah, make data plans cheaper too!

Big Decision! help needed

So ive recently interviewed with t-mobile and cingular for a store assoc position. Now ive got offers in front of me from both and i would love some advice. The cingular store used to be a blue store and is now orange if that makes any difference. Has anyone had experience with both companies? Im interested in hearing your take on what you think i should do. Both companies seem to be offering the same in pay and benefits so that is really of no concern; Just looking for opinions.

Forcing Customer's to Migrate to Cingular

Heard a Rumor that sometime in April, {around the 6 month merger anniversary}, all of the legacy att wireless customer's will be forced to migrate to Cingular. Anyone out there have any insight on this ?
