What is the best GSM nokia?

What is the best phone to use as a modem so I can connect to the internet.

I just posted a thread about Opera mini, but I would also like to know if there is any way to enable javascript or java applets on a wap browswer yet? Or is this still a process-in-the-works?

Today I decided to leave T-mobile after 4 years of being a loyal and overall satisfied customer. Here is why...perhaps a lesson to be learned for what used to be a good company when dealing with customers.

(Disclaimer: I am just a consumer who reads the site occasionally for cell phone reviews, but I know people who work for the phone companies read this website and so do other consumers, so that's why I am writing this).

Here is my story:

- I am currently under no contract obligation with T-mobile. I last upgraded my phone 16 months ago. I want a new nice phone. I am eligible for all the discounts that new customers are.

I have a need/want for wireless data access. I don't use it enough to go with one of the other carriers but I find GPRS painful and slow. How much different is EDGE in terms of speed (real world) over GPRS?

So I got a couple of questions about working for T-Mobile / Cell Phone Carrier. I am currently employed by a bank but am thinking about leaving. I will have the option to leave or stay in a few weeks. I've got a lot of expirence with cash handeling and of course great customer service skills. lol. I thought about going to work for a Cell Phone carrier because I know A LOT about them. And have had a lot. I like them too. lol. So what are the benefits of working for T-Mobile? What is generally their pay range / Starting pay? (I Make OKAY money now...considering that I am stil at home and going to college...)
Any input would be very helpful.

I'm currently looking into a postpaid account, and am interested in opinions on these phones. I am using a Samsung c225 right now on their prepaid plan, and I prefer a non flip style, so I'm pretty interested in the e635, and I've read up on each, but I thought I'd ask for other opinions as well. Ok, so I go online last week monday to upgrade my phone. I chose to upgrade to the mda, the website didnt have any notices that it was on back order or anything. Thursday rolls around and I havent received any comunication regarding the status, so I call customer care and all they can tell me is the order is still pending. I call later in the evening the rep says its still pending but has a delivery date of 6/22. So I figure surely by Friday evening I will be provided with a tracking number as ups doesnt pick up or deliver on Saturday, but no, no tracking number yet. I even went to ups.com and used my mobile number as a reference number and still nothing. So I call this morning, still pending, rep says it doesnt appear that the mda is on bac...

Just got in new Nokia 6103 @ my job. Phone feels like junk. Whats up with nokias. They always felt nice, now they feel weak. Also what is the story with wallpapers, when you put something on, you cant see your shortcuts on main screen. The razr has a much better feel to it, but is also garbage. The screen collects SOOOOOOOOO much dust inside. What the heck is going on with these phones. the samsung t809 has same problem. AM I THE ONLY ONE GETTING THESE PROBLEMS WITH CUSTOMERS?
same problems with these phones on cingular side too. I dont have these problems with Sprint phones.

My friend has this phone and I heard the ringtones on it and they sound way good! You can hear the ringers crisp clear and VERY loud! The Hi Fi ringers are usually muffled with most phones, but with this model there isn't any problem!

Also, This phone is available in black and white colors. I think the black is targeted more for the guys and white more towards the girls, but a phone is phone either way!

P.S. Nice mega pixel camera too & easy to text!

My wife has a Moterola V300. She has a current work assignment where they do not allow camera phones on site which the 300 has. Is there any way of permanently disabling (removal of lens) without damaging the rest of the camera?

The contract is up in a few months so the phone will be replaced with a newer phone later in the year once her assignment is up.

Does T-mobile sell refurbished phones that can be activated and then swithced back at the end of her assignment without having to damage her current phone?

How about purchasing a phone on ebay or something? Are there any concerns that they will not activate the phone on the line (heard about phones not being activated due to GPS or 911 issues).

The main thing I want is better security for bluetooth.

I have had my Nokia 6101 for about 5 months now. The phone is pretty good but then it started freezing and turning off on its own and when listening to my ring tones and recordings it would skip. So I am thinking about getting a new phone, but I know I can't get an upgrade so I was wondering how much it would cost me to get a new phone or if I should just buy a phone off of ebay. I have alot of customers asking about a GSM Treo but I have found no speculation from what I think is that it will come out after the Sidekick 3? Does anyone have any word about this Treo for T-mobile or was the MDA the smartphone solution for a long time to come?

Okay so here’s the thing…

So I’m buying a SideKick 2 PrePaid kit from Wal Mart.com (It’s cheaper than from T-Mobile) So I’m on a post pay plan. What I would like to do is just take my SIM card and put it in the SideKick 2. Can I do this? Also, how can I change add the SideKick unlimited data plan on? I’m not the primary account holder so I doubt I could call…I can make any changes online, MyT-Mobile.com though. Anyone can help me out?
