Any AWS Nokia phones in the pipeline?

I'm pretty much resigned to waiting until the cows come home for Nokia to release Nseries with AWS compatibily, so any news on the rumored "Qwerty Nokia AWS phone" I heard about on here a while back, or any others in the pipeline?

Sony Ericsson CS8?

So yeah, I saw this bangin' phone on another phone site that said it was expected out June 24th, but I see that it is now the 27th and it's not on the website yet.

Anybody know how long this will be delayed or when it will be officially released?

Changes to Blackberry Web/Messaging Plans?

I checked my T-Mobile services last Friday (6/12/09) to see what might be of interest. I currently have a plan with unlimited web and 400 messages a month, for $24.99. On the website, there is listed an ACCOUNT LEVEL service offering unlimited web and unlimited messaging for $34.99/month. Now, this is listed as an ACCOUNT LEVEL service, meaning it applies to ALL LINES in your account.

But...when I call T-Mobile I get told that this is a LINE LEVEL service only (meaning it only applies to one line), regardless of what is on the web site. All of the CSRs that I speak with say this is a mistake, and that they can only offer this plan on a per/line basis, not an account basis. In fact, one CSR said he was going to write this up to make s...

might be a dumb question, but please answer...

I went to my friend's apartment the other day and thought I wouldn't get any reception (since it's in a strange dead spot). Instead, my phone (SE TM506) got full reception and said "EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY".

Of course, I'm assuming that means I can call 911 if I need to, which is nice. But can I also call/text any number if I need to? Would it just cost me extra? And if so, how much extra? Or would the call just not work?

Thanks.

Family Plan + Data Plan ?'s

I just want to clarify the monthly service fees, based on what I see on TMO site. If I were to get 2 G1's and the 700 FamilyTime minutes ($59.99), and select the required G1 Unlimited Web + Unlimited Messages for $34.99 per month, do both plans cover both phones? In other words, my total monthly bill would be $59.99+$34.99=$94.98 total?

If I got a G1 and a different web-capable phone, would the G1 web+message plan apply to whatever additional phone I picked?

Thanks!

Anyone know if Tmo has plans to "cover" the DC Metro?

I know Vzw already does, not sure about the others.

Roaming problems

This week, I was on a buisness trip to the Shreveport/Bossier City area of Louisiana and had constant coverage issues.

There were several places were I would have no coverage at all and the phone would drop into it's network searching mode. When it did this, I could see it detect at least two networks that had 4~5 bars with of coverage yet it would not connect to that network and would instead, just go in to a "no network available" mode.

I have a nation-wide free roaming plan, so why am I not able to connect to those other networks. I've been in some very rural areas and roamed across several networks. When I used to be a ATT customer, I even roamed onto the T-mobile network a couple of times.

The coverage issues I'm experienc...

Alert: T-Mobile Under Investigation

Has T-Mobile charged you a reconnection or a reactivation fee? If so, T-Mobile may have charged you improperly.

I work with a law firm investigating whether T-Mobile’s policy of charging consumers a fee to resume services is a violation of California’s consumer protection laws.

If you have paid T-Mobile to reinstate or reactive your cell phone service, you may be entitled to compensation if the court agrees that the fees were improper.

Out of Contract & Not upgrade eligable???

So heres the deal and I'm hoping some informed tmo employees can help me out. When I first got my 2 lines over 2 years ago we got them in my wifes name. About 3 months ago we transfered the account into my name because we could get a 15% discount because of the university I attend. So now that our contract is up they are saying we arn't eligible for an upgrade, even though we are out of contract, because if you do a change of responsibility your upgrade eligibility resets.

So.... what are my options. If I call and say I want to cancel my lines will I get sent to the saves department and get my upgrades or will they just tell me to bad.

If I do end up canceling my lines is there some caveat that I can't open new lines of service for...

What's up with T-mobile.com bringing the Samsung T-409 back?

Hello??!?! That phone's been discontinued for a while and all of a sudden it shows back up on T-Mobile's website today. Can someone explain this to me?

And why is the RAZR and the V195 still there for all that matter?

T-Mobile

So T-Mobile has horrible coverage in my area, and 3G is about 2 to 3 hours away if I were to want 3G on T-Mobile.
So my question to all you T-Mobile lovers is... will T-Mobile put more towers in my area? Or are they going to work on making 3G and skip out on the coverage? I really love T-Mobile, I want to switch but there would be no point if I can't get coverage. What goes into getting more towers? Does the government favor at&t and say, "hey there are already gsm towers so screw you lady in pink" or is it more complex than that?

T-Mobile... I love you

Fraud on account

I am retyping this question beacause I know I should not have typed it in caps. I am sorry to everyone maybe now I can get more answers. I Have a question if a cx clms that a handset upgrade has been done on their account without permission and they don't even know the person that did it. Does t-mobile do an investigation and trace where the phone has been sent out to. Also can a phone be traced if it has not been activated. Also what if the person uses the phone 3 months after its reported would the person be ablt to use it. 🙂

Interested in T-Mobile...but, not sure how the service is..

I live in Charleston, SC. I heard that no one knows when 3G is going to be available down here.

I am curious if anybody knows much about the new Sidekick LX's GPS. I want to know if it has VOICE turn by turn directions??

So far, I've heard from friends who have T-Mobile that the service kind of sucks. They randomly drop calls.

Curve Question

So I called and spoke with Customer care - they are saying that without a data plan, the Wi-Fi doesn't work? Can someone clarify that. I didn't know you could turn off wi-fi. Thanks in advance!

HTC Touch Pro 2, and HTC DASH 3G Leaked in new T-mobile add!

Yes the new T-mobile add includes the HTC Touch Pro 2, and the HTC Dash 3G and I say, they both look sweet. I might pick up the Dash 3G as a backup phone to my Curve 8900.

T-Mobile Unlock

I was planning on purchasing a Sony Ericsson z500, but I wanted to know if T-Mobile can get unlock codes for phones they don't carry, or if I have to find a different way to unlock it (if, of course, it comes locked to AT&T at all. I'm still not sure if it will or not.)

If anyone knows, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Tracy
