Really frustrated... etf's be damned

I never had any problems with TMO up until we upgraded our phones & paid them to allow us to extend our contract another 24mos & keep our business. It was explained to us that it was a fee for processing the paperwork. Whatever. That's not the issue.

My husband & I both wound up choosing the same phones. The Nokia 7510 with the interchangeable face plates. After 2 or 3 weeks (of course, after the 14 day exchange period offered), both of our phones started freezing up & going to a white screen on a regular basis, especially when texting. We put up with it for a couple weeks, but as it got worse, we called to see about an exchange.

It wasn't until after I was on the phone with cc for an hour that they informed me that I would hav...

Unlocked HTC

I've been looking at a couple of unlocked HTC phones, any issues I need to be aware of?

The models I've been looking at are:
Touch HD T8282 3G
Touch Diamond2 International Version
Touch Pro2 International Version

I know T-Mobile now offers the TP2, but I like the international version.

T-Mobile TP2 for $149.99 A/R ,no activation fees, free shipping, with 2 year

Call T-Mobile Business Direct at 866-464-8662. Push 3.
Give them the promotion code "Windows Mobile"
Phone is $149.99 Free Shipping, Activation fees waived, 2 year contract. With new line activation!

Ordered today and will be here soon. Then do like I did with the Wing Deal - Port My # to the new line and Cancel old line. Added the 24.99 data package and still shows as having 400 text.

Also, Rep told me WM6.5 upgrade within a couple of months.

T mobile not offer Mobile 2 Mobile with some of there plan. I mean that does not make any sence at all. Wouldnt you offer that on your plans since they are part of the same network ๐Ÿคจ

T Mobile Texting Issues

Has anyone heard recently anything about t-mobile having texting issues. For the past week or so I have been getting close to only 50% of my texts. Doesnt matter where I am or time of day. Even used my sim in a different phone and still the same thing.

? for T-MO employees....

I have been with T-MO for almost 5 years, am currently out of contract, and have the Curve 8320. I would like to upgrade to the Curve 8900, but don't want to sign a 2 year contract. Is the best deal the upgrade price on the website w/ the 2 yr contract, or if I get to the saves dept. with the intent to cancel service, can I get the 8900 cheaper and/or on a shorter contract?

Reception

Got a quick question...

I recently moved and the new place is on the ground floor so I know there will be some reception issues.

What is weird is the signal strength would fluctuate even if I am standing still in one spot.

I called customer service and the rep said something about using the wifi capability on my phone. Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks!

ETF

I have a family plan. My wife's part expires in April and I am on rolling already. I don't remember why or how that was set up but thats not the question.

I do have a question regarding ETF. I don't remember if T-Mobile does the prorated ETF or not.

Either way, how much would I have to pay to get out of my T-Mobile contract at this stage?

Thank you!

$1.50 Paper Billing Fee

I am very confused about T-Mobile's new $1.50 paper billing fee. In the Chicago area, every rep in any T-Mobile corporate store I go into is COMPLETELY CLUELESS about this fee, yet it is all over this site that it will take effect on Sept. 12th. I am about to port a number over to T-Mobile, but not if they are going to charge this rediculous fee. What is really going on???? Thanking you in advance...
