One of my relative works as sales rep at T-mobile, and i'm thinking about getting a new phone

Do I get EXTRA GOOD deals on phones? or is it like the more I save the more he loses his commission type of thing?

and is it possible to get Really good phones like the Blackberry pearl for free w/ 29.99 monthly plan?

thanks

Looking for T-mobile phones

I am looking for import or domestic distributers of cellphones either t-mobile locked or unlocked. Any authorized agents have some leads? I am in the process of starting up a local MVNO for WV and KY and I will be running off T-Mobile system. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, J

unlimited minutes for free?

I'm posting this from my blackberry so pardon any typos.

So there is a program out there that will make any smart phone a wifi hotspot. So when tmo rolls out 3g why can't you use your phone as the wifi....and then use your uma over your wifi for free calls? Just thinking outside the box here. Who knows if it will work or not.

question on blackberry messenger

Hello there, I am looking at the options Tmobile offer.

I am interesting in getting a blackberry phone and I see there is an option to add unlimited email for $ 9.99 which is a great price for me but my question is "it is possible to use the blackberry messenger with that add on?" . I am not talking about other IM like yahoo, aol, etc which I know will required to use the internet browser. I only need to use the blackberry messenger which is avaliable for blackberry users only. But since I dont need to surf the web I dont want to go on an expensive $30 data plan or some like that.
Can you please get back to me with an answer and explanation if possible. This will help a lot on my decision.

Can prepaid T-mo phones do MMS?

Looking at T-mo's prepaid web site, there's no mention of MMS service being available on the phones that have a camera. It just says:

"Take high-quality pictures from your phone that you can enlarge or print."

Is this true -- you can't send or receive pics on prepaid? If so, what good is the camera?

"Uncaught Exception: Camera Viewfinder Inactive" bb curve 8320

I got this message yesterday when I tried to use the camera to take a snap shot. The first time I tried the phone just froze up when it came up to the viewfinder screen (which was showing nothing but blackness).

I gave it another try and thats when I got the error message. Sometimes I've gotta take the battery out to get the phone to start working again. Ne ideas?

::EDIT:: I posted this messaged in the Blackberry Curve 8320 forum and no one replied so I'm giving it a shot here in the t-mobile forum. PLEASE HELP!
