I have been a loyal t-mobile customer for some years now, but technology is expanding and they can't seem to keep up. With the lauch of the iphone to AT&T, several other services and phone companies have been tryiung to match it. There are several touch screen phones out there and are being released everywhere, BUT t-mobile. I know they didn't think the "WING" (which has way toooo many bugs and kinks they need to work out) or the SIDEkick (which is promoted to kids and teens) could match the demand and technology of these types of phones. hey guys I have a pearl and get so many dropped calls its ridiculous. Months of calling and complaining have done nothing and each time they only solution is to trouble shoot. Any advice??? I get horid service pretty much everywhere i go. I've had t-mo since it was voicstream and have never had such crappy coverage. Is this just a T-mobile bad coverage thing, or is there somethin going on with their towers lately?

I don't understand unlocked phones. My wife and I will probably move to T-Mobile but they don't offer the Moto Q9, I was told to buy an unlocked one. Not sure what to do because I've never hears of unlocked or even know where to get one.

Does anybody know when these phones should be hittin the stores and what kinda price range we are going to be looking at for them?

Alright folks, I'm going to cut out on Alltel. This merger is too much for me, especially after sitting in a room with Scott Ford and listening to him speak about his passion toward the company. Add the fact that I, and many others, were impressed and took him to be a genuine, honest individual whose intent was to keep Alltel out of acquisition war shows how convincing he was. Sure, I work for Alltel, sure I will continue to keep my free service and free, new phones... I will, however, be dropping my personal contract, ETF or not.

I have three lines with T-Mobile that I had planned to pay the ETF on prior to this sloppy merger, but I will be staying put. Sure there is no 3G in place, I can live with that as the BB Pearl and my datacar...

hi i am thinking of getting a new phone this summer does anyone know if ethier the htc touch diamond or the blackberry touch if there is one coming to tmobile? i am just sick of my motorola rizer and the samsung slider phone. i am kinda tried of slider phones all together it sucks have to hold one to your ear using your shoulder.

I dont' completely understand 3G, so I'm curious to know -

In the city that I live in, I'm not roaming so I can use my data. Before the 3G, I was roaming data when I visted family in my hometown. Now I'm not.

Is the 3G deal responsible for that? Or is my ignorance showing?

I have just found out that Google is making a variety of phone and that T-Mobile is going to be distributing it as well as another carrier. I have seen the concepts and I can not wait until I can purchase one of these. Does anybody know when the release is going to come out. I have heard the beginning of 3rd quarter but I dont know if it is just a rumor?

Ok I was reading some thread arounfd the forum and someone mentioned IM are the same as text message as far as the way to charge your account.

So if this is true the I could use the IM with an unlimited text plan right???

I dont really browse the internet from a phone so I dont need to pay for data.

I just want to confirm this is possible with t-mobile, could someone help me out here???

I thought about going on phone scoop first before I call customer care and stay on the phone for hours.

So here's the problem...

I have a blackberry pearl with the "new" software (4.2). A few weeks ago I noticed that my internet was SUPER SLOW, or not even working. I called customer care to cancel my $19.99 data package and I asked her if that will mess up my MMS. She said no because your MMS is part of your unlimited text messaging plan. Well NOW i can't recieve or send any MMS.

I looked at the settings and found nothing I can do to fix it.

Any advice?
