Sidekick Data Safe?

Hello everybody,

How secure is info on your sidekick? especially some of the expense logs and pictures that are backed up on the sidekick server? Has anybody had any security problems with that?

I Want To Get A New Phone

So i wanna get a new phone but i`m not sure which one. Basically i think all the new Samsungs out right now suck so i`m not doing that and i hate Nokia so that`ll never happen. I never really wanted a Motorola so i think its time to get a smartphone. Is the shadow that much better than the wing or the dash? and if so how? i`m kinda mad that the sidekick lx doesnt even take videos so thats whack The last thing is that i kinda liked WAP`s. i mean there is no other way to get it than by having a regular phone right?

Pic Messaging to Verizon Line...

OK... so whenever I try sending my buddy a picture message, I can't do it. I get an error on my T-mobile SDA saying "Recipient address not resolved". He recently started a new line with Verizon (2 months back) and since then, never been able to send him pics UNLESS I'm sending to him AND someone else. Weird, huh? And he's the only person that I cannot send pics too. I never have the problem with any other person using Verizon or any other carrier. I have used his number with and without the 1 in front of the area code, with different handsets, and no luck.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this problem?

***Posted under Techs and Trends too but I never check that board and I'm sure that I'm not the only one who never checks all the...

Blackberry use with corporate server question

I'd like to know what steps need to be taken in order to use my corporate outlook e-mail with my Blackberry. I think I have it narrowed down to one of two options, or possibly both.

1. As long as we have Blackberry Connect installed on the primary computer of our server, I think it can work.

or

2. Does having the corporate Blackberry feature offered by T-Mobile enable me to get corporate e-mail on my Blackberry?

thank you for any help you can provide

Help!! Cops called because TMobile corporate store refused refund of $50 activation fee

Is this common? Do I have any recourse?

One week ago I paid full retail for a Nokia 6133. I assumed that if I did that and bought a $100 prepaid card I would have service. I was informed that I had to purchase a $50 prepaid kit to activate service and that it would delay my need to buy the $100 card because it included 150 minutes. I was also told (verbal is binding in my state) by the sales rep that I would have 3 bars of service at home. So I bought the kit along with the phone.

I had the phone for a week, and watched as it constantly went in and out of coverage, never getting more than a single bar. I only used it to troubleshoot the issue.

At the end of the week I decided to return it to the corporate store where I had bought it...

vzw is going down???

ok, so i have been reading some consumer reports magazines and one that i have read was about cell phones. it said that t mobile is really starting to bring verizon wireless down. the magazine said that t mobile is beating verzion's customer care, and they said that when they get 3g they are going to have even better things than verizon's vcast service. and i used to have verizon wireless last year and i had them for a 1 year contract with an lg chocolate the black one. and i have to say that i regret going to t mobile's service because the v cast could do so much on my chocolate. the only reason that i went to t mobile was because they had better service than verizon wireless. but i dont understand why a magazine says that t mobile is beati...

Want to Assume (via COR) T-Mob Contract

Hi,

I know this is a shot in the dark but I can't get a response from a CelltradeUSA advertiser. I am looking to COR into a US T-Mobileaccount, not exceeding 13 months, national plan with long distance/free roaming, 1500 minutes with free nights/weekends, voice only, at the former promo plan price of $46/month or less. Included phone and/or other incentives are negotiable.

Thanks

SunCom rep need more info about T-Mobile

Since T-Mobile has purchased SunCom I just want to get a little more info on the pay structure for retail Sales and Customer Service reps. How are the benefits? Whats the dress code for retail. I'm just curious. T-Mobile reps, your input would help.

SunCom Acquisition

Ok, as you all may know T-Mobile is buying out Suncom in the very near future. I live in NC where there is NO T-MOBILE and I'm currently on AT&T (cingular). Im glad t-mobile is buying suncom as suncom is a provider in the carolina's. I just can't belive t-mobile has not put up towers here long before a proposed buyout of suncom. North Carolina is a VERY populated state believe it or not and you would think they would have already been here. Either way...I look forward at the possiblity of ditching at&t in the near future for a network that (from what I can see) has much better rate plan, and text/data offerings then what I currently have.

Does anyone know (officially) when after this merger t-mobile will start activating in the car...

Is the Shadow supposed to have UMA capability?

When is it rumored to be released?

Is the Shadow a renamed Touch?

The next phone I get needs to be UMA capable, but I need a smartphone/pda. I am heavily considering a Curve, but I really like that the WM6 devices will automatically read text messages into my bluetooth. So much so, that I am actually using it as a deciding factor.

If anyone has any info on upcoming UMA capable smartphones/pda I would greatly appreciate it.

ok, so i have t mobile service and since you cant download full length songs off of their t zones homepage on your cell phone, i went onto google on my computer and researched websites that allowed you to download full length mp3s. and i entered a search on google and i got some websites that said that they have full length songs to download onto your cell phone. so i go onto that website, enter my cell phone number, and recieve a pin through a text enter it, and download a ringtone that claims to be full legnth. i get the webpage through a text onto my phone, and click onto it it downloads the mp3 and turns out to be only 30 seconds long. can anyone tell me a website that you can download FULL LENGTH SONGS ONTO YOUR CELL PHONE. To Jonathanlc2005 (About T-mobile USA)

I posted this in the other forum and just in case you have not seen it I will post it in this forum as well. I also wanted to mention I could not sleep so I felt like posting this to you Jon. I have to disagree with some of your comments about T-mobile USA. Earlier I did mention that if T-mobile were not going to be expanding in coverage and capacity wise and spectrum, they would be in a world of trouble. Obviously, with the massive purchase during the AWS spectrum, increasing coverage with cell towers, roll out with 3G shortly, and purchase of Suncom, allows them to continue to be there competing in the marketplace. For a company like T-mobile that has struggled with its growth because of a lack of spectrum and coverage has been doing a gre...
