Contract with AT&T expires next month!

I am ecstatic.

After 6 horribly long years of AT&T (i originally had cingular, then switched to AT&T, got carried over to Cingular again, then carried back to AT&T) I finally convinced my parents to switch over to T-Mobile. 😁

I am thinking of obtaining a one-year contract, only because my mother is, well, not very careful with our phones. In the last 2 years alone she has had 5 phones, because they either break, get wet, or get lost. 🤭

Is getting a contract for one year a good idea? I love t-mobile, I would gladly get 6 year contracts, I'm just looking at the overall benefits of renewing the contract every year and obtaining phones at a less expensive price than purchasing them every few months at retail price.

so easy a caveman can do it

Any one can buy a phone...

if you havent noticed, simpletons make the world go 'round.

Our glorious country is run by a hillbilly/redneck/simpleton/ingoramus, whatever you call him.

I deal with wonderful hillbillies each and every day. I relish the oppurtunity to educate such an oblivious person. I jump at the chance to tell them how the real world works, because i can.

Thats my job. I educate....

you drop phone, you pay now. Phone in pieces, you go insurance. me sorry

you wet phone, you not covered, me sorry

I realize half my calls will be from air heads. I accept that. It makes the pill a little easier to swallow.

t mobile vs at&t

ok, so i have had at&t for a long while, and after so many years i thought it would be best to try a new service provider, so towards the end of august of this year i switched to t mobile on a my faves 69.99 family plan. and no offence to at&t customers but t mobile's customer care kills at&ts. they are friendlier and they are nicer and they fix problems a lot better, but one thing that was better about at&t than t mobile is that thier phones are a lot cheaper than t mobile's and they have cingular music and cingular tv. and i had that on my smasung sync where i could watch clips of tv and download full songs. now on t mobile motorola v3t, i am upset that it costs 2.49 per ringtone, and the ones i buy are only around 15 seconds long. so that...

To all those T Mobile Customer Representatives

Hey I have a question for all the T Mobile reps. I had T Mobile once before and had to leave them due to finances being tight and I had to pay for two phones and both with heavy usage. SO i switched to metro. When i had tmo it was great and im looking to go back. So my question is what happens if i want to go back to T Mobile. Can I just call and register A new sim i have laying around here or should i just find a relative to let me register underthem to start a new activation? Thanks!

UPSET WITH T MOBILE!!!!!

I used to be a cingular customer for over 5 years, and i had an ok experience with them. so at the end of august of 2007 (this year) i switched to t mobile. and i have to say that i have gotten very good reception with them, and customer care also. but i had a samusng sync before with cingular or at&t. and i could download full songs and watch video clips on it. and i didnt realize it but none of t mobiles cell phones have that capability of downloading full songs and watching video clips off of the phone. and on my motorola v3t which i just purchased last saturday (today is october 5th) reads on the screen when i view my videos get more videos and it has a t zones sign next to it. so i click on it and it reads 404 page cannot be found. so i...

FURIOUS with T-Mobile!!!

I thought I had found a decent enough Carrier...but alas...I was wrong. So peep game, I've had to replace my SDA not 1, not 2, but THREE times so far beacuse of issues. On the 1st phone, it powered off and wouldn't turn back on. PLUS I was only getting download speeds of 10-15kbps in EDGE territory(Live in Indianapolis, work downtown). 2nd phone, vibrate stopped working....STILL only getting 20-25kbps in EDGE territory. 3rd phone, YET AND STILL only getting 25kbps MAX in edge territory. If I put my SIM in another phone...it works fine...it's just that with the SDA...it's not working. Spent HOURS on the phone with tech support today to try to resolve it. Went to the Corp store to try my card in another phone...and again...it works fin...

Call quality differences between T-Mobile and At&t

When I changed cell providers from At&t to T-Mobile, I noticed a big difference in the call quality. Call volume was louder and much clearer. No distortion. Call quality was similar to Verizon's. I live in south Florida. Does T-Mobile and At&t use different technology even though they are both GSM?
