Just got this phone last weekend and I noticed right away when you flip it open the keyboard buzzes pretty loudly when it's lit up. My sister has a older v3 with the lower voltage battery and her keyboard doesn't buzz as loud. Anyone else find this annoying?

So, I originally purchased the HS850 sometime last spring... it was OK... not loud enough, though. So I bought another one a month ago... It was even more quiet!!! Now, these headsets are NOT cheap. $99.99 retail.

So today, I purchased the H500 which is $54.99 retail... It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much louder.

Nice to know Motorola is charging $45 more for poorer quality.

How do I go about removing the antenna on a Motorola V180? Just hold tight with pliers and twist? I want to use an external antenna adapter.

Have a Razor V3 & love it! However, is there a way for the phone to announce the caller, especially when using a headset? In other words, if you have say, "John" programmed in as "voice dial", when John calls can the phone announce "John"? I had an older Ericsson that used to do this and was very convienient, especially when the phone is in a holster or while driving. After all, you may not want to talk to "John" at that time! 😉

Does anyone know how to transfer my games from my phone to computer? I have a RAZR and the official data cable and phone tools v 4.03. Is it possible to do this, or only my pictures media files?

why is it that when I try to apply one of those animated wallpapers on my T-Mobile RAZR, the wallpaper is inanimate once you go back to the home screen??? This really "GRINDS MY GEARS"!!!!

So I have an old ATT account that I don't want to get rid of. However, my V600 is starting to crap out on me. I like Moto phones, and these two phones both have the features I want and need. I've never had a smartphone, so I don't know what the OS is like, but I really like the OS of the V series phone. Basically I want to get either or because:

Quadband phones
1.3 MP camera
Speakerphone
Bluetooth

I really like my V600 as it has all these features, subbing the camera for vga. However, the RF and battery life sucks on it now that its getting older, so those would be two other big factors in me deciding what to get. Just wondering if anyone has both, or has reviewed or played with both, and what you thought about either or.

I have the Motorola v325 and my son has the Motorola e815. It seems totally random whether or not I can email ringtones to the v325 - doesn't seem to correspond to whether or not the file is a MIDI, mp3, or anything else, or even how long the clip is! And I haven't been able to email any of them to my son's phone. Any suggestions?

I didnt realize there was a difference in these...I hear there are a few updates in the HS850 as far as battery life and bluetooth version but how can you tell them apart, dont they look exactly the same? Or does the HS850 come in Black only, and the HS810 come in Gray/Silver only??

Im just confused how anyone can tell them apart. If the colors resemble the different models then thats easy enough.

The E815 is a Verizon phone, so of course, they've made it nearly impossible to get ringtones through anything other than their "Get it Now" service. But I know (from looking at topics on howardforums.com) that there are ways around this that allow you to transfer files to the E815.

I tried e-mailing myself the tones by sending midi files in pix messages, but it didn't work.

So, my question: Does anyone have a SPECIFIC set of instructions to get some sort of bluetooth type file transfer working on my E815? I'm pretty bad with this tech stuff, so the more specific they are, the better...

Anybody know the difference or advantages one of these has over the other?

I thought the H3 was supposed to but out already but I havent seen it in any stores (verizon, cingular, bestbuy, circuit city etc...) Ive seen it on ebay but Id like to see it in person before buying it...and also would like to know what advantages (if any) it has over the HS850?

Also, if anyone knows is there any difference between the gray HS850 and the black HS850?

Does anybody know how to sync my v710 to my laptop via bluetooth. I know that it is possible to do this even though usc doesn't support this. Will i have to use phonetools first to unlock this feature or is there something else that I can do. Let me know.

I am stumped, Im having severe dificulty changing individual ringtones for my phone book entries. Can anyone give me input on this?

After a month my Razr ceased charging and after contacting Motorola, I was instructed to send it in to the repair center in Bloomington, Indiana. The "track my status" site at motorola.com indicated that the repair was completed (RMA# CC24091243) and that the phone was shipped back to me, but I never received it. When I called Motorola at 1-866-289-6686 about the phone not being received back, "Amanda" denied that the phone was ever received (USPS tracking #0305 0830 0001 5703 8524 shows that it was received on 12/27/05) and stated that the RMA# was not a valid number. The motorola "track my status" site also shows that it was received and "repaired", and contains a UPS tracking number for the return (1ZE9F47602698400😎 which shows that ...

I hope that someone can help me out with this problem.
I recently bought a Motorola RazR black mobile phone and was very happy with it. Until recently I noticed that each time I entered a new contact in the phonebook, another contact person got removed from the phonebook.
I check the memory and this was ok. It is becoming an annoyance because I have to keep entering the same numbers over again.
If there is any body that can help me out here, if so please do so.

So i've had this phone for about 36 hours and noticed that after a few minutes of inactivity...when i look at the clock on the screen it's frozen in time...the only way to get back to "real" time is if i push a button where it changes from home screen...anyone else having this problem?
