Hi all

I got the RAZR V3 in black for christmas.
I think the phone is great, but i don't like the address book to much.
My last phone was the Siemens s65 and before that the nokia 7650.
Now with these 2 phones i could have the contact name and set as many numbers to that name as i wanted. all i had to do was click the name to open it and then the list of numbers was displayed then i just select the number i want.
I can't seem to do this with the RAZR, or i have not found the way to do it.
Instead i have for example if Fred Blogs has 3 numbers, i get his name in my address book 3 times.
But this makes for a lot of scrolling.
All contacts have been stored to the phone memory and the numbers have the Home, Mobile, Work icons set to th...

Greetings. I am about one week into ownership of a RAZR V3, having "upgraded" from an E815. I was wondering if any of you kind folks might be aware of any software available that would allow my phone to function as a GPS device? My new job requires a lot of traveling, I get lost a ton, and am trying to get nyself back on track without dumping $700 into a stand alone unit.

I don't know if this has been covered....I am trying to figure how I can send video from my computer to my RAZR. I have quicktime files that I want to be able to view on my RAZR. Any help would be appreciated.

Santa just brought me a Razor V3, which I use with my Cingular service.
I have been able to setup the alerts for text messages, but I'm not getting an alert when I receive an email message from a POP3 account.

Anyone have a solution?

I just moved from a life of Nokia phones to the Motorola L6. I was wondering, does the display of all candy bar-type Motorola phones shut off after the phone is not in use after just a few seconds? (I assume it's a power-saving feature.)

According to my manual, I can turn the "Display Timeout" to OFF, which I did, but I'm still getting the same result, ie: screen shuts completely off when I don't press any key for just a few seconds. With my previous Nokias, the screen would just go dim, but you can still see the screen and then later, the screensaver would come on, which is just a dim clock.

When I'm not using the phone, I would still like to see the screen, eg: to see if I have a message, check the time, etc. Is the screen shut...

For anybody whos used this headset, im looking to buy it and the info keeps saying something abotu a foldable or retractable "boom" wut the h*ll does this mean! hah.. here this is wut it says

hi there everyone. I am getting the hottest phone for my bday from asia. according to private investigation it will be a Motorola W3, not v3, but W3! I heard it has a 3.x mega pixel camera 😲 . I have no idea how it will look like coz it has yet been release.. does anyone has any site that I can read about it. I will post a detial review at the end of jan 2006.

Can anyone help me use a memory card on a Motorola E815? I have some midi files on the memory card that I would like to move to the phone's memory so I can use it as a ringtone at a later date. I can play files from the card with no problem, but I can't move the files. I figure I must be missing something because it has to be easier than this. Thank you for your help, Jeff

I have a new Verizon RAZR and can't program speed dial. I get as far as the first few steps.
I chose a contact- chose the cell number-push OPTIONS- choose set as speed dial--then I go to scroll to which speed dial I want. To go to highlight number 4 is highlighted. Then, NOTHING. Once I highlight the number 4 spped dial (Which is already filled with the pre-pogramed selection) it, it won't let me select it as a new speed dial number. Nor does any key come up saying, select, okay etc. It does not give me the option to select it.
What do I do?

Does anyone know how to make the V551 left side volume slider buttons shut up when its closed?

When open there are ways of customizing what the side buttons do, but this doesn't effect their use when the top is closed. The default is to switch ring modes ( loud, soft, silent, vibrate etc ) but that makes the phone beep whenever anything in my pocket touches those side buttons. Maddening. Please help. Thanks.

Good day all v635 users. I resently purchased a v635 and i am very pleased with the phone so far but there is one thing bothering me. In the user manual it says to go to menu / settings / initial setup / and then brightness to ajust your brightness settings. But i dont see any brightness option. Can anyone help me with this problem ? It will be much appreciated

I've seen Motorola Phone Tools version 4 being offered by yourwirelesssource.com. Have they released a new upgraded version?

I have a 710 and just love it and have a question that I hope someone can help me with. I am using a Palm Zire 72 and connect thru blue tooth to get my e-mail. I love this feature of the phone and don't want to loose it. I went to the Verizon store and had a echo problem with the phone and they wanted to preform a software update. I have 8700_01.40.R on the phone and when I asked the tech if this could change the feature with the palm he did not know. The only thing that he did know was he could not get it back to the way it is now. Anyone know anything about this?

I just bought a razr from Rogers in Canada. I didn't realize there is a V3c & V3i, Rogers advertises it as a V3. does anyone know which version it is?

Does anyone know if the car charger for the E815 will work on the V551? Thanks! 😉
