Hi All,

I have two brand new T-Mobile V3's (purchased yesterday), that has virtually no documentation on video capture, although it seems to support the feature.

The problem is that whenever I start a capture in "high quality" it records for just a few seconds and then stops on its own (even though there is supposedly LOTS of memory available). In "low quality" mode I get slightly longer recording, but it still stops on it's own. There doesn't seem to be any setting option that allows for longer record times.

Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a known fix? Both phones behave in exactly the same way, so I am assuming that there is nothing physically wrong with either one.

I currently have Verizonwireless. I'm looking to upgrade my phone (New every two). I also have the new Intel iMac with built-in Bluetooth. Does anyone know if either the Motorola RAZR V3C or LG VX-8100 will sync (using Bluetooth) with the built-in address book on the iMac using iSync. Thanks in-advance! j_skronek

This may seem like a stupid question, however I looked around this forum and did not find any comforting information. I just purchased the Razr and previously owned the LG vx8100. With the 8100 i was able to use Bitpim to save mp3 ringtones under the filesystem. I am going crazy trying to find a way to do this with my Razr. I have Motorola Phone Tools and can't seem to find a way to send these files. Can anyone offer some assistance? Thanks!

When adding or editing contacts is it possible to make note of a contact's extension number? I know that I must be missing something obvious.

Im looking for a music phone that also has a decent camera. I dont have a ipod or a stand alone digital camera so the phone I pick will take the place of these. Which one outta the two would you suggest and why?

My SIMM card spent three years in a Nokia and the next three years in a Samsung and now resides in my Razr. T-Mobile does not support PIN2 and does not have a PUK2 with which to unlock it AND Motorola tech support provides no help since they put it back onto T-Mobile as being the responsible party--and I did speak to a Motorola tech support supervisor about that. Since the PIN security code is known, the phone seems to work great, but it kinda bugs me that somehow PIN2 got locked.

Does anyone know if you can enter more than on phone number under one name. Do you really have to enter the persons name multiple times to get there home, work and cell phone numbers in the address book?

Does anyone know if Motorola will ever put a smartphone OS in the Razr. I've been lugging around a Treo and want to get back to a small flip style, so not really interested in the Q. I occasionally switch back and forth with my MPX220, but the faulty charging socket makes it a pain to use.

Is there a way to hack Motorola phones to change the behavior of the address book? I had an LG phone before and used to be able to type in several letters and press FIND and it would do a search. I have about 300 contacts in my Motorola, and the best I've found I can do is press the letters to jump to that letter in the phonebook, but then I have to page through all the entries for that letter to find the one I want. It's all software, right? Has anyone written a hack or program that can add the search function to a Motorola? I don't want to switch back to LG due to the reception/clarity issues, but it is such a pain to find contacts on this thing! I am thinking about an e815 to replace my V60s but now I may wait for the Verizon Razor ...

This might sound strange to all you guys. I have motorola Razr V3, all the accessories headset, travelling charger and USB cable to use MPT use to work perfectly fine. But since last 1 week only charger is able to charge the phone, I am not able to use headset and the USB code fails to connect the mobile to MPT. what could be the reason? Also when I try picking up a call by Auto pick up(option in headset) it does not work, Is my connector port gone for a TOSS, the phone is not even 1 month Old

Is there any specific model for PC to Razr V3 connectivity, as I have installed Bluetooth on PC by MPT and I have a USB bluetooth PC device on it. when I try to connect both it says.. License.Dat missing. Is there a specific model of bluetooth on PC which works with Motoroal Razr V3.
I am trying this because my USB cable and headset device are refusing to connect via connector port.

for my Razr v3, but it throws an error asking for license.dat when I try connecting it with my mobile. Is there any specific model for Raz V3 bluetooth connectibity with a PC(win 2000 professional is my OS).

Could someone tell me if I am able to save mp3s to my Trans Flash and play on this phone. I tried it a couple days ago. I saved an audio file from my laptop to the Trans Flash. Then I placed it in the slot and I couldn't play the song. I knew I saved it correctly because I placed the memory card on the my Nextel i870 and it worked perfectly. Maybe I'm doing something wrong please HELP...or maybe Verizon Wireless disabled this feature from the phone so I could buy that crap "GET IT NOW".

I have 3 number in 3 different providers and bought a SIM-MAX 6in1 card that allows me to have up to 6 numbers in 1 sim and switching between them without turning off phone.
The problem is that everytime I switch between 1 number and another, all my SMS are lost.
You might think that it was normal not seeing sms between numbers but the prblem is that they simply gone. Even if I return to the previous number that I was using, and hd sms, they aren´t there anymore ☹️
Anyone uses a 6in1 SIM in his Motorola V3?
Any problems with it?
If I use it with other phone (Nokia 7110) the messages are kept which make me believe it is a Motorola software problem.

Yes recently my phone display broke on my v220 I need to know the commands I could copy my phone to sim I have MPT (Phone Tools) but its no help to get my contacts out of my phone could someone send me some screenshots or a guide to go to my phonebook and go down to copy phone to sim and I also might have default setting to save to phone so Guide me to change that first would be greatly appreciated thanks

I've had a Nokia for the longest time, but I'm being tempted by the Razr. So, I'm trying to figure out how I would do things to the Motorola that I've done to my Nokia.

1. How do I unlock it to work with SIMs from other carriers?
2. I heard there are other kinds of "unlocking" on the Motorolas, such as feature unlocking. Can anyone explain?
3. Is there a way to change the default font? I like it smaller.
4. Can I sync with Outlook without MPT? Any open source / free software out there?

In general, does anyone maintain a Newbie How-To?

h) Battery Life is Great. Keep Original Software.
CONS:
1) Does not have video playback
2) Wish it had as much memory

Seems like I should know this but I don't. I have my contact list setup as view by "List" so that all numbers are shown under one name. My question is, once it's setup this way, how do I add a new number? I have a person with home # only but know I want to add their cell number. I cannot figure how to do this. Can someone help me please? Thanks.
