Motorola RAZR2 V9m

It seems kinda heavy? Does it feel too heavy in your hand?

Also does it feel like it is built well?

In terms of opening and closing and such?

I am still on the fence on what to do. Get the v9m , wait for the price to drop OR wait for the ROKR z6? If I want to put music on the V9m is it as easy as it sounds like it's going to be (plug in without software to your computer and download right from Windows Media Player) on the ROKR z6? I really would prefer a flip phone but if the whole scenario of downloading music to the ROKR is going to be alot easier and it's going to be able to download from more places and easier, than maybe I should wait?

Help! I'm sick of my phone that I have now...it's just got so many issues!

Anyone know how long it will take for the price to drop on this phone? I know it's just out now but how long does it usually take before a price drop occurs with Verizon. I see that the MAXX is still at the same price as when it came out months ago...

Just out of curiosity, who is happy and who is/was not happy with their V9m for Verizon? What were/are your likes and dislikes?

Great Phone!! For all of you high tech gooo rooosss, get a life!!!! It works great, sounds quality is awesome from Verizon. For a business man just taking on the phone it works for me!! Plus its strong and stylish. Only draw back back for people who like all thoses extra things on phones is that the camera on the phone should have a flash. Thats it. Remeber it is a PHONE!! Not your life!!! Great JOB MOTOROLA!!!

There has been so much controversy on the color of the v9m for Verizon. Can people that own the phone PLEASE post photos of their specific phone (NOT photos that they found on the internet that are stock) so that we can let this subject rest? When posting photos of your specific phone, please also include where you purchased it since that also seems to be a huge subject. After that, let's hear more about the mechanics of the phone and let the color issue rest!

Is anyone else experiencing a lot of dropped calls with the Razr2? I have made several calls to someone on a landline while sitting in my office, with full signal, and for no apparent, the call went silent on both ends. It would work fine for a few minutes, then the calls would get dropped. Is this just a bad phone I got, or are others having this problem.
I called Verizon, and they suggested making sure I don't cover the antenna area with my fingers, near the hinges.

i played with the v9 in cingular yesterday and i loved it but i know the alltels verison will be way better

Well, I went to the Verizon Wireless store today in the hopes of purchasing the V9M. When I got there I LOVED the phone but then realized that it is Black on the sides with silver in the middle whereas everyone here (and on cnet.com) said it is brown with bronze on the face.

I went to three different verizon stores and every one of them had this black/silver version . Two of the verizon stores also only offered a $50 rebate.

I really want this phone but want the brown/bronze version. Any thoughts????? If you ahve the brown/bronze version, where did you purchase and how can I guarantee that that is the color I get?

i was wondering i wanted te razr 2 for sprint but for some reason in illinois it is not release yet. has it been release for sprint? and if it has been when will it be released for illinois? thanks

Does anyone know if the New Razr2 for Verizon has customizable text ringer Ids for your contacts? Meaning... can you put a different text ringer for each contact that you want? My Lg vx8300 does it, can this do it? AND... How big can the inbox get? My 8300 stops at 50 but I know the Razr v3m phones can go for at least 500.

OK, so I have seen a couple of suggestions on how to format the SD card on the Verizon V9m. I tried to format it on the computer and it formatted but the phone still does not see the photos I put on the card from my computer. I looked through the tools in the phone and can not locate a way to format to card. Has anyone else had this problem? If anyone knows how to fix it please respond with the answer.....

OK so I totally want this Razr2. But guess what guys? Verizon is coming out with a BLUE version of this phone in about three months. SO if you want a better color than the standard Espresso brown/bronze or the Silver Black, hold on to your horsies. I personally am going to wait it out for the blue version

How is the battery life of this phone in general, and specifically for verizon?? Better than past RAZRs?

hello, i can't seem to have an option that says format memory card, i have a 2gb sandisk in their. I put the option of save pix to card but that way the pix that i take doesn't let me set as background wallpaper, the only pix it lets me save are the ones saved to the phone i think this is because my memory card is not formatted, how do i format steps please (VZW RAZR2) THANK YOU.

Anyone hopeing for a java hack like me. With java we will have acess to so mnay games programs.

Since there is so much money out of pocket for this phone, I am wondering if I should take out the insurance on it. Any thoughts?

I just got my VZW v9m in the mail TODAY; even drove home from work to pick it up over lunch... I was excited until I turned it on. I activated it with the VZW web site; and no go. I can't call out. after 20 minutes on tech support I could make / recieve calls. however no get it now and no mobile web, both of which I NEED to run my business. after 40 min on tech support the phone would randomly restart when trying to use GIN! and randomly say 'registering applications (or similar) then restart 20 times! what the fudge? this is a $470 phone according to the invoice! its going back to the store tonight for a new one that works 100% before I leave the store, else its going up someone's azz... i hope this is only a def phone, but so far I am no...
