Stopped in at local VZW store yesterday to check out the Venus for my wife and was surprised at the amount of people looking at the Voyager(No one) And the place was packed,never seen it so crowded. Before we went in I thought the store was packed with people trying to see the voyager but I was wrong. They wanted other phones oh well!

Is it just me or did it get 10x faster today?

Is there a way to upload pictures from my computer directly to the Voyager using the USB cable?

anyone able to import their contacts from outlook to the voyager?

I use my phone to access AOL e-mail a lot. Worked fine on my ENV. On the Voyager, when I go to "browser" and hit AOL mail, it works less than half the time. The other times, it just times out. The other choices--Yahoo, Gmail, etc. seem to work fine. I called Verizon tech support but they just said that AOL is a secure connection and sometimes has problems. They couldn't explain why it worked fine on the ENV or why I can access AOL over the web on the Voyager without problems (but reading e-mail using that route is really awkward with too many steps). Also seems like the battery life is pretty short. If I can't fix the AOL problem, I may return the phone.

I was having problems with AOL e-mail and installation of the music essentials softwarefrom the supplied disc. trying to sync music via usb from a windows vista system. no luck!!! driver will not load. called vzn support and tried for 30 min. no luck!!! he told me that there might not be a driver for vista. that sounds ridiculous. any one having the same problem?

Hey everyone, I am a long time lurker on the site and a first time poster. I thank everyone that has been posting to the site about the Voyager.

I wanted to share my experience with getting the phone activated on my account. First of all I called Verizon several times to check with them and see if I would need to change plans and each time I was told that I did not have to change plans I only had to add on the V-Cast. One of them went as far as saying that they can not force you to change plans. I had a plan that was 2 years old.

Anyway when I picked up my phone at the store on Sunday evening I was forced to change to a new plan which was one of the Nation Wide Plans and only needed to add on the $15 / Month V-Cast to get full functi...

Dose any body know have to play videos so it used the full screen? With out that menu on the side.

ok so I work in a area that it would benefit me to lock access to my phone when im not actually using it

I remember on one of my old LG's there was a bottom button that if you held it .. it would lock the phone so you needed the "code" to do anything but call 911 .. just like the current "vib" shortcut if you press and hold the #

It just seems a bit much that in order to lock your phone now .. you have to go thru about 4 steps .. enter code .. and then one more .. it not huge deal but try doing it after every txt you get? lol

I would like if the phone auto locked after I read a txt so that any other incomming txt calls or access to the phone .. would need the code

Anyone else having difficulties using the touch screen to scroll. I know that I keep selecting an item instead of making it scroll. Any tips on how to better get through the menus. It is frustrating to say the least 😕

I waited twenty minutes before being helped, and then was told by the sales rep. that it would be $469.99, which I told him that would be fine. He then says that he will be right back with the phone, comes back without it and informs that they are for upgrades or new lines of service, sorry. 👿

so i ordered the phone by phone using the primary lines upgrade the lady said when i get it in the mail to call and agree to 2 year contract and then i can put my number onto the voyager so it never has to go on the primary lines number is that correct??!! 😳

Does anyone know when the mobile tv will be available here in San Diego?

I've got the 9400 and really love the TV service, but it doesn't come through my stereo bluetooth headset. Oddly, VCast does - which is nice, but I'd really be thrilled if the TV audio could be routed via bluetooth. Does anyone know?

A couple of newbie questions:
-When you access the browser onn the ENV, there is a menu for news, weather, sports,shopping, etc. I don't see anything like that on the Voyager. Am I missing something or do you have to set up your own sites using bookmarks?

-I uploaded some music onto the Voyager and then tested to see if it would play the music when paired the Bluetooth in my car. No luck.
I gather the car bluetooth is limited to telephone calls (?)

phone was so hyped up and sorry to say its not verygood at all.. for example internet browser is so slow its not worth having. another thing is that the front touch screen interface is sometimes not responsive at all, the menus are not
interesting at all (lame and too basic vz os), the actuall call quality is just average.
navigating a website with front display is imposible!!!!! Should have had windows or original lg os. have had a moto q for 2 years did hate it but will probably go back.

so I ordered the voyager by phone yesterday (Friday) and the lady told me that the phone will be delivered to my house on Tues or Wed? I want to see if that makes sense because I know they are sold out at every store?? Did anyone order by phone and get theres that soon too?!!
