BB Storm vs. Bold comparison article
Doesn't slam either phone for no reason unlike some people here 😡

Article starts out like this:
Since the BlackBerry Storm just came out, we thought it’d be necessary to stack the Storm against its main rival on the enterprise side: the BlackBerry Bold. On the outlook, the functions of the device are similar, although the BlackBerry Storm has a vastly different way of navigating than its larger brother. Furthermore, they’re offered on different networks, meaning different chips, different speeds, and even a different customer base.

Does it just need an update?
Anyway, I was thinking of getting this phone and I was wondering if all this lag and bugs the OS has, are they software or hardware based?
What I mean is, Would some software updates and better code streamlining allow the phone to responde better or is it limited because the CPU and other components can't handle it?
I can deal with some sluggishness, thats not a problem, as I have the Moto Q9c (Sprint), but it looks like the Storm's OS is still in beta lol.

RIM lowers third quarter outlook, touts Storm sales
From Engadget on Dec 3rd:
RIM now says it's expecting to rake in just $2.75 to $2.78 billion, with its adjusted earnings now expected to be 0.81 to $0.83 per share, and not $0.89 to $0.97 per share, as previously forecast. Stay away from this POS
at my job, and I activated 2 of the storms on Monday, did a software update, 4.6-->4.7
on both phones, tiny improvement in the OS and touch screen response.
But by Thurday, both people took their Storms back to verizon and reactivated their old phones.
This phone seriously needs some bugs worked out before its ready for prime time.
Actual corporate users or people who buy this because they actually need to send an email will NOT like this phone.
People who want a cool looking phone and want something nice to play videos and pictures on thats also a phone, will like this phone.
I'm sorry to say Verizon, this is NOT AT ALL

3G vs 1XEV
I see all these commercials promoting Verizon's 3G but my Storm says 1XEV. All my friends who have AT&T IPhone shows 3G as their network. Is something wrong with my phone or what?
So.....
Wow....so disappointed
Thanks, but no thanks RIM. I'll keep using my Curve.
