Pleased with what Lenovo has done with Moto
At first I was a little skeptical of Lenovo, but they've turned out to be very respectable.
I picked up a Moto Z Play last year, and i've found myself using it more than my Pixel and S7. It's a fairly solid performer with amazing battery life. If the camera were a little better i could use it 100% of the time!

More Mods to come
Motorola indicated that there are more qualified entries for the Transform the Smartphone Challenge than just the 12 who have already launched campaigns. The entrants have until March 6 when the result of their campaign is analyzed to determine the top 10. In the days to come we will see more high quality mods coming.

Awesome Insider Knowledge
What I love most about PhoneScoop is that you always get information that's accurate
Sad to hear that that 2% of Lenovo's 55,000 employees are getting laid off. Wishing the best for those who lost their security.
Great post!

Not cheap
Get ready to buy new chargers. I purchased this phone when it was in preorder. Got it and immediately noticed the charger is different. So all of the turbo chargers I have are a waste. I need three chargers for the different vehicles I drive oh and don't forget the powermat I bought, yep it won't work on it either. I have been and will be a Motorola / Lenovo fan, but this phone is probably the worst phone I've ever purchased. My previous phone was the Turbo which I loved. I used my Motorola S10 headphones in the gym last night and could hear the gym music over my own headphones (which mine was on max). There unfortunately is not anything impressive about this phone. The battery life is ok but not as good as my Turbo. I had two cal...

No headphone jack = non starter
This obsession with making phones thinner at the expense of functionality has gone another step with the elimination of the headphone jack.
They already have to have a bulge near the top of the phone for the camera, why not extend that enough to have the headphone jack?
Give me a phone that is 1/3 thicker for 2x the battery life anytime. Too much vanity over functionality!

Very nice but...
These new phones seems to be an excellent choice, although I miss the old camera interface where you can tap anywhere on the screen to snap a pic, and not search for the shutter button. But on the other hand, it's now easier to set focus, similar to Samsung's Galaxy phones.
But what I'd really like, is a smaller version of this phone. This size is simply way too large for most people! Why not offer a 5.0" (or better a 4.6") screen size with 1080p screen for smaller hands. I'm sure they will have a winner as many people will go for it.
Think about it, Moto!
