Samsung SGH-P207

with pictures taken from the camera phone like you can with the LG 1400? I'm thinking about getting the P207. Just want to know before I go out and spend the money. Also do ya'll think it is a better quality phone than the LG 1400?

Hey guys, my friend just received the phone the other day and I got a look at it. It's lightweight and the graphics are cool...One thing I noticed though was the black outer covering is almost like plastic. It can get greasy and smudgy pretty quick...Just a heads up for those of you who could get annoyed by this. Hope this helps 🙂

If you go to cingular's phones page and put in a So. California/Nevada zip (ex.90210) the cingular phones say retail price and the p207 is $179.99. Does anyone know if that is the price without contract or anywhere that I can get this phone with only a one year contract?

I have been calling Cingular since Friday to try and get this phone and everytime i call they tell me it is not in there system yet. What's up with that you release the phone but we can not buy it yet...that sucks! If anyone knows when we can buy please let me know. I really want this phone it looks cool and seems like it is a pretty nice phone to have thanks!

Does anyone know when this phone will be in stores? I contacted Cingular and Samsung, but neither of them knew. Samsung informed me that Cingular would know before them anyway. If anyone has heard anything...I want to change my phone immediately 😕 Thanks.

how excited was i to think this whole mess was over...all the calls all the waiting just the mess. i get a box, yes its my phone i cant wait....i open the box its c207 what the crap is that!! Never did i mention a stupid c207 i know that is not what was on file. i called and was on the phone for like and hour. and still got no where. ick

ive noticed other phone models with the retail price of 180 go on sale.
some of them are even free.
dose any one think the p207 will go on sale soon.
i really want to order one, but i dont want to order it and find they are giving it away for free on line.

I've heard that this phone will be available in store about a month after its online. I really like this phone but I need a 1-year or no contract. I called Cingular and they told me that the only way to get a 1 year contract was in a store, where conveniently enough, the P207 is not.

So, Does anyone know when it will be available in store, because my contract expires with Verizon on the 18th! (May)

I am a cingular customer and cant wait for the v635 to come out, but i am hearing different time periods for it to come out. Is it true that it is suppose to come out the first week of may and if not when?

I got my phone yesterday and everything seems to be going well so far, the camera is good the voicemode works well not perfect but most of the time it realizes its made a mistake and fixes it itself after you're done saying the sentence. I'll write a review in about a week or two. I'm just happy my phone finally came haha

I am very impressed by this phone..NICE beautiful colorful screen. The ringtones to indeed suck the **** but you can always download new ones. The keys are a BIT small but that's why you have the voice dialing (which i am also impressed by) Nice camera and design making this phone the best I have ever had. Oh and one more thing, its very...very light.

Ordered my p207 online on Tuesday and received it Thursday without any problems. Called cingular and got my new sim card activated and everything is good to go. First impressions of the phone are pretty good so far. It feels very sturdy. The flip feels extremely sturdy. The camera seems to take decent pics for 640x480. I wasn't expecting much with a phone camera though, and I didn't buy it for the camera. Reception seems to be ok. Im still not able to get a signal in my office, but I never have with my other moto t720 either. I think it's something to do with the gsm network as my coworker with an alltel cdma phone gets 3 bars and no problems making or receiving calls. The only cons I have run across so far is that the speaker does...

Yey!! first to post on this new phone. Looks liek it definalty will be from cingular. Lacks a MP camera and bluetooth. Where ti lacks it comes strong with style and functionality. Looks like a nice small phone with edge, color external display, probably a good VGA camera, and video recording. Looks like another nice phone from cignualr that will be popular. Too bad it lacks bluetooth and a mp camera. They would make it the perfect phone for me.

I am on my third 👿 LG1400 now. I have had nothing but problems with this phone. My first replacement was a week old before the speaker went out. So I am looking at the P207. Is this a better phone than the LG 1400? Does it have front display picture caller ID. Cingular can't seem to answer this question. Just want to know if people rate this phone better as far as quality and sound over the LG 1400. Thanks for your opinions. 😎 MW

Hi all.

I just broke my contract w/ Verizon b/c I was so mad that they disabled the bluetooth on my V710 (forcing you to use their pic messaging to get YOUR pics off of YOUR phone).

How does this work w/ Cingular? I'm considering switching.....really like the P207 phone. Can I get my pics via cable or wireless connection w/o having to pay Cingular $0.25 for every picture I take?

In the compare vs section, I compared this to my current Samsung SCHa670 and under the category "headset jack" it has a blank... I can't imagine a phone today not accepting one...is this true?
