There is hope lol!!!
Well i am glad somebody has had success. I got a couple of phone calls today from Cingular because i wrote a letter to the office of the president- customer service...She said the phone was only available online for a month and then they would be available to other stores and crap. Anywho I told i was trying to upgrade not buy the phone from somewhere she said she would try and get my order expedited out to me soon. After i told her that you cant order the phone online the website has been messed up for weeks (to upgrade). She was actually nice and in a hurry to correct the situation. We will see man i cant wait to hear your review on the phone!!!

This is so annoying
I migrated my number over to cingular to be able to get this phone... I ordered everything on Monday.. Tuesday comes no order number to check the status of the order, after calling around for 2 days no one was able to find my order... then the estore help line finally found it... then they tell me the phone is out of stock and they have no idea when they will be getting a new shipment in. cingular.com is still saying they have the phone in stock in fact now that I can check my order online I can see that my order is being processed and there is no evidence of my phone being on backorder... hm...

transfer?
Hi I am on a family plan with my parents. We happened to activate the family plan about two months before att was taken over by cingular. I also got my phone after our plan was activated. The problem is that we got a plan activated in a satellite store like cell tech or something like that. SO basically I have an att sim card with a cingular phone (z500) that i do not like and want to know if i can trade my phone in through cingular and if i can, how much credit will i recieve on my perfect condition z500. I want to trade in my z500 for this but i dont even know if it is in stores or unlocked. Info please đŗ

Available today, 4/15/05
Well, the P207 is now on CIngular's site for $79.99 with a 2 year contract. They should make more phones in all black. It looks really good.

White version
I spotted a Samsung employee talking on a white P207 at the Samsung booth at CTIA this week. It looks really slick. I was able to inspect it up-close, but he wouldn't let me take photos... âšī¸
Still, this is one very stylish phone, and the option of black or white - both with a glossy finish - is bound to make this a hot seller. đ

Retail cost?
Anyone know the retail cost? I dont like to be obligated to any carrier would rather buy the phones seperately. MP3 ringtones are the reason I like this phone as a back up to my T637.
Anyone know the release date?
Any info on a release date for this phone?
I'm trying to decide between this and the P777.
I'm currently stuck with Sprint and can't wait to switch to Cingular or Tmobile for GSM service.

Nice
The Vendors are at our call center todya I got to hold this phone. VERY NICE....very light extremely nice screen....still wish it had either speakerphone or bluetooth but the phone is very solid quick menus all around nice if you can manage without the above features....
Tri-Band?
Is this phone going to be tri-band or dual-band for Cingular, because on Samsung's site, I was looking at the user guide, and it said it was "Tri/Dual Band". Does that mean that Cingular could offer either one? I was just wondering because I travel sometimes and having a tri-band phone is a feature I would like.

What happened to T-Mobile?
It seems as if LG and Samsung are dealing with Cingular and Sprint users' needs but not anyone affiliated with T-Mobile.
Am I wrong Rich Brome?
I would like to see a megapixel phone with video capture for T-Mobile.
Is there anything coming out like that for T-Mobile?

Thumb covering service provider logos on all LG pics!?
Rich,
Is it me, or does it appear like you're purposely covering up the service provider logos on all the pics of the LG phones? In all the pics, your thumb and index finger are right where the logos would be located. Just looking at the pics of the VX4700, your thumb is right where the Verizon logo would be and in the pics of the F9100, your thumb and index finger are covering the locations of the Cingular logos. I'm assuming that LG told you to do that before taking pictures but everyone already knows that the VX4700 is for Verizon and F9100 is for Cingular. The logos are also covered in the pics of the other LG models.
