I was hoping someone might be able to offer a solution to my down sides listed:

-holds about 6 songs max...
-without sprint PCS internet, you lose functionality of everything. you cant play MP3s, games, or even download upgrades, etc.
-headphone jack is too small for any every-day headphone.
-I have yet to find a way to upload my own ring tones via blue tooth or usb cord (if you know of a way plz contact me!!)
-When i go to place a call, and recieve a call at the exact same momemnt (doesnt happen all that often) The phone freezes up, It wont let you call nor answer the incomming call. they NEED a firmware update for this.

So i tried connecting my laptop to my Samsung 900. First off i have a mac, a powerbook. So when i plug in my USB cable it seems as thou i first need to go to the option on my phone where it says connect to PC, correct. Once i go there, my phone pops up on my desktop on my laptop. I open it and there holds the folders, "music, media, bluetooth, etc...." so i try dragging in an mp3 file and i get the following message:
"The item "mymymy.mp3" could not be moved because "0" cannot be modified." Where "0" being my phone. Can someone please help, thanks

Hey I was planning on getting a Bluetooth headset in 2 days but will the diffrent sucsess stories then all the failure stories about bluetooth on the a900 i dont know what to do

On the thread "video's on the a900 (or something like that 😉 ) someone mentioned to "Download a program call IMTOO"... is there a program like that for mp3 (so i can fit more on) or will this one work?

Hello! I ported my phone to Sprint and got me a A900. I haven't played with it that much yet. One thing I noticed (just tonight) is that when it is plugged in to the charger, both the inside and outside displays stay lit. Is this a normal behavior of this phone? Or is it just my phone! I talked to tech support and they could not help me. The technician advised me to go to a Sprint store to have my phone checked.

when i set the phone to vibrate all, the phone doesn't vibrate when a call is incoming.. is it a problem with the phone..? or is there something i have to do??? or is the vibrating function just really bad?

When I put a repeat function into my scheduler, the repeated meetings don't show up on the phone. Apparently they're still there (I get an alarm) but they don't appear on the day.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was just wondering if there was a simple option to delete ALL text message inbox messages. I know that there is the option to "mark and delete" messages... but i usually have a full 190 messages in the inbox and it is annoying to need to do that. Also, another solution would be to make the warning message go away that says " Your inbox will be full in X messages." I cant find a way to do either... Help?

My friend has his A900's Modem NAI disabled or "Off". Is this only for the tethering? Does he need this when using the phone for Internet?

I asked him to test his speed when his laptop is tethered. He got 480kbps download and 44 kbps upload. He used Speakeasy speed test url.

So, I guess, disabling Modem NAI does not really downgrade him to the 1XRTT network! It is still using EVDO!

Curious to know if anyone's heard anything about whether or not Samsung's going to put out a desktop charger for this phone. I realize the design will be a challenge, with the charging port on the SIDE of the phone, but if they came up with one, I would most certainly buy it!!

To receive incoming calls while in an active EV-DO (Power Vision) data session, go to Menu > Settings > Display, and press 0 to access a hidden menu. Enter 040793 as the security code. At the following menu, scroll to Toggle DOTM and select Off DOTM in the following menu. This will then allow for incoming calls while in an EV-DO data session, however, in a 1xRTT (Vision) data session calls will still be redirected to voicemail.

well ive deleted the bd file or whatever like it said in another thread...but its still not working. im putting them in mp3 form into the media folder...what am i doing wrong?

When it is said that it can be used as a modem does that mean Power Vision is utilized? If this is the case will this work w/ the $15 data plan? Currently I use a Dell Axim X51v (Windows Mobile Pocket PC) to connect via BT to my T-Mobile SE t610 to get net access to my handheld through T-Mobile's internet service. Will Sprint's A900 w/ the $15 Power Vision allow me to do the same (w/ the superior speed)? Which Sprint phones will allow me to do this? Thanks

With the recent release of the Sanyo Katana in all those colors, I was wondering if anyone heard anything about whether or not Samsung is ever going to respond to the OBVIOUS market out there for different color A900 phones. I would LOVE to purchase the Blade in a different color, like Blue or Pink.

Has anyone heard anything definite about this, either way?
