m610 disappointment...

okay, so I bought an M1 about a week ago to replace my A900 since my new LR2's bluetooth system didn't pick up the A900 at all. I was very impressed with many aspects of the M1 (speaker, speed of OS, overall UI, etc), but there were two main issues I had with it: 1) bulkiness -- sure, it's short and skinny, but it's also a bit too thick for my liking, and 2) while my LR2 paired with the M1's bluetooth, it wasn't fully compatible (phonebook synched fine, but recently dialed, missed calls, and received calls weren't pulled over).

So given my choices, I decided to exchange the M1 for the M610 yesterday. After playing around with this phone extensively over the past day and a half, I have already experienced 1 random "reboot" and about 8 br...

Touchscreen Watchphone will it sell in the US...?

Will this come to the US? will it sell? is it an innovation? or a waste of time?

quad-band GSM while packing a 1.5-inch touchscreen with itty bitty, built-in stylus; Bluetooth 2.0; and all the 120 x 160 pixel MP4 video (or MP3/AAC audio) you can pack into its 128MB of storage. The watch weights just 60-grams and should hold-up to about 200 minutes of talk or 80 hours standby before needing a USB recharge

Activating existing equipment requires a new contract?

OK let me clarify; I called to activate new existing equipment I already owned and was told I am not allowed to activate any phone for my current line with out signing up for a new contract.

WTF? This isn't costing anything to Sprint...I purchased the phone from someone!

Was I just speaking to someone who has no idea what they're talking about!? 👀

Foreward text messages.

Is it possible to set text forwarding on a Sprint phone or PDA. I have a Treo and call forward to a T-Mobile prepaid when I go to concerts or the lake. This works great and I don't have to worry about damaging the Treo and I can slip my prepaid Razr in my pocket.Sure wish Sprint used SIM cards so I wouldn't have to do this.

Snuggles Haters

I make an honest review of the Treo 755p which is indeed just my opinion but one I'm rightfully allowed on this forum and get bashed and name called. Fabric Softener? Post Coitus Verb?

Just because I bring flava to this forum don't hate! No seriously, I don't see you trolls contributing

Is Sprint really this strict with Roaming?

I have never seen such ridiculous T&C for roaming in my history with wireless.

Sprint Defines Roaming Limits for Customers

Written by James Ripley
Thursday, 29 March 2007

Sprint has further defined their Terms and conditions on roaming for those customers with roaming included plans.
The changes are as follows...

"Roaming-Included Plans: Not available with single-band phones, or to customers residing outside an area covered by the Nationwide Sprint PCS Network. Sprint may terminate service if (1) more than 800 minutes, (2) a majority of minutes or (3) a majority of data kilobytes in a given month are used while roaming. International calling, including in Canada and ...

Sprint.com problems again

Anyone else seen problems with sprint.com lately? Seems like its screwed up more times than not in the past month. Last month there was a stretch when I couldn't login for 4 or 5 days - seriously!

Tonight its throwing Java errors when I was attempting to look up phone information. Once I enter my zip code, I get the messages below. A few weeks ago it was basically down for 4 or 5 days - I couldn't login at all!

Today's Error:

Exception calling business action "SprintPCSGetCSANew": java.lang.NullPointerException at com.sprintpcs.bizact.external.SprintPCSGetCSA New.execute(SprintPCSGetCSANew.java:59) at com.bluemartini.server.BusinessActionServlet. executeInternal(BusinessActionServlet.java:27 5) at com.bluemartini.server.BusinessA...
