Next BIG release?

Here is a little poll to get some minds thinking...

Now that the Upstage is out, what type of phone would you like to see or think we will be seeing in the near future that will blow people away? what manufacturer... Samsung? LG? Sanyo... etc? Be creative yet keep it realistic 🙂

SERO+employer discount?

question from a newbie:
my contract with tmobile *it sucks like wow* is about to end within the next 10 days, and i am considering either sprint or verizon, so i want to get some info about sprint first:

i work @ wells fargo, and sprint offers wells fargo employees a 26% discount. now ever since i've stumbled upon this informative website *i'm loving this website*, i've learned about the SERO. so i have two questions now:

1. can i start a service at a physical location and then enter their email address to activate the SERO, or do i have to buy the plan online from sprint.com? if i can, can i just open the plan then use the email address of some "official" sprint physical store employee's email?

2. and if this can happen, and i do ...

Sorry PPC Users

http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2007/05/09/sprint-ppc- ... »

A May launch for Sprint's variant of the HTC Titan sounded too good to be true, and indeed, it just might be. We've now heard from enough individuals to give some credence to a rumor that the PPC-6800 has been pulled back into the shop to get reworked for an October release just weeks before it was supposed to hit store shelves. The reason? Well, it's a pretty good one, it turns out; Sprint allegedly wants to take the time to do the launch up right by launching its flagship Pocket PC with Windows Mobile 6 and EV-DO Rev. A out of the gate. Now to be fair, we see no reason why they couldn't go ahead and launch it with Windows Mobile 5 and EV-DO Rev. 0 on the origin...

Store policy???

My fiancee just renewed her contract and got a new phone. The rep at the store told her that 'it is store policy for all phones to have insurance when they leave the store for her own protection.' Any fact to this???

Sprint Rep's/ Techs- Upstage Question

Hi All,

I'm very interested in the Upstage (lost major interest in the Katana II since the grapevine is reoporting that its not upgraded). My only concern with the Upstage is the internal battery. How is Sprint going to handle a situation where a battery is corrupted/broke. This happened to my LG and I just bought another battery. But as we know this is not possible on the Upstage.

Any info on this is appreciated, thanks.
