For Sprint Reps please..

I am a 8 year Sprint customer and brand new to this forum. I have a real love/hate relationship with Sprint. Basically the service has been acceptably reliable but my renegotiations to continue the service have always been tense. My ongoing huge complaint is the chronic crap selection of phones like Sanyo & Samsung. I have made it abundantly clear to service reps that i wil use ONLY Nokia phones. That is my personal preference and my condition to continue service. I used a Nokia 6185 for about 6 years before i was finally able to trade up 2 years ago for the 6225. Whenever I ask the reps when the new Nokias will be available they never have any information or are playing dumb. I visited a Sprint store a few months ago and they only had O...

Whatever happened to Advanced Exchange

You know, that terrible idea of: "Hey, customer has problems with their phone, no problem, we take it from them, and in 3-5 days, theyll get another one! Yea, thats awesome"

Srsly, like 6 months ago or more, they announced to stop using it until further notice, and there has been no more notice..lol

Phone for Dad

So my dad currently has nextel and thanks to me being tired of the "nextel subscriber you are trying to reach...." message I'm pushing him to move to the Sprint side of things.

First, I THINK though I don't know for sure that he is contract, can he migrate regardless?

Second, phone recommendations. He's not going to care about a camera. He will want something durable, preferably a little on the larger side(nextel size) with battery life and rf being the two focal points? Any recommendations? Price not being an issue what would you guys recommend. I'm pushing him to do this asap as I know he is beginning to see faults in nextel.

Sprint's PDA's vs. Verizon's PDA's

Verizon's PDA/Smartphones don't allow Bluetooth OBEX, while Sprint Does. Sprint disallows MMS on their PDA/Smartphones, but Verizon doesn't. Which is more important to you?

Upstage Issues

I have been hearing lots of bad feedback on the new Samsung Upstage in 2 areas. Before I pick one up I was wondering if people here had heard the same.

The issues are:
1. Bluetooth Stereo only works for music not
videos and media player, ever sprint radio
2. Battery wallet make any bluetooth headset
sound bad unless held up to the head

Thanks in advance for your help.

IS IT TRUE?

Is it true if you go to a sprint agent (pagecomm etc) and tell them that you don't have a social sec. #, that they will just charge you the $150.00 deposit. I owe sprint money, but kinda wanted them back...

Crazy post...I know...

Sprint Customer Care 24 hours or not?

Can someone clarify if Sprint Customer Care is 24 hours a day or not? I spoke to a rep today on the phone who informed me they are. She said they arent fully staffed but do have reps overnight. However the voice recording the other night told me they werent. Is their a different number you can call to get a rep later in the evening or are they truly 24 hours a day?

Someone please help me understand this......

I would like someone to try and help me understand something. I have just ported over to Sprint from T-Mobile and im not sure if I am happy yet. I know I have 30 days to decide but I want to reach out to you guys for assistance. I had my plan changed from regular to employee pricing and already im experiencing difficulities. Sprint says if you change your plan during a billing cycle you cant track your minutes until the end of the cycle. How antiquated of a system are they using if this is truly the case???? So now I have to call Sprint daily to get an update of my mintue usage. How inconvienent and unacceptable is that???? Also whats this crap about having to pay $15.00 a month just to surf the web. T-Mobile was never that costly. If I wan...

ITS OFFICIAL THE 4G WIMAX iPHONE KILLER (MICROSOFT/SPRINT ZUNE PHONE)!!!

I know every one drooled over the announcement of the iphone...but as many of us Hardcore PDA users. Lack of a Removable Batter, and Lack of upgradeable memory, and not to mention the phone being 2G we werent impressed. We all should have known microsoft wasn't going to let apple win. next-gen, high-bandwidth capable phone, 4G network based on the IEEE 802.16e mobile WiMax standard, download speeds of up to 2Mbps, fast enough for the Xbox-to-Zune streaming. Microsoft's patent application -- filed June 16th of last year -- is for a dynamic tiled interface for "improved user interface for mobile devices such as smartphones" and "personal digital assistants And the best for last...its coming 2 SPRINT probably exclusively since no one else will ...
