so i live in rockford IL and the evdo light is finally showing up on my brothers and sister lg ux830 and my moms razr but not on my dads krazr. crazy but we finally got it damn were moving on up one day we will have evdo everywhere but by then it will be obsolete but that will be the day 😳

Any word on release date of the touch pro yet?

The new lg wine is on the website, i really like the big keys and the quick start buttons on top are great!!!

So US Cellular has been in my area for a long time.... ever since cell phones began becoming largely available here, they were here. I know most of uscc territory is in the midwest but there have been a lot of faithful customers here for nearly a decade or longer.... so when will US Cellular ever bring EVDO high speed data to my area. I mean, come on, AT&T has only been here for a little more than a year when they bought and rebranded Cellular One here and they are already planning to bring HSDPA here in late spring or early summer. I have a feeling I'll have to wait a while since we're not exactly too close to the rest of US Cellular's (non-roaming) coverage area though. ☹️ Just for your information, the area of Appalachia I am referring t...

A new phone coming out for uscc later this month, who comes up with these names?!?

Will UScellular EVER have another Nokia phone? What happened to the 3606 that someone said was coming soon? Frankly, I am tired of waiting. I have been a loyal US cellular customer for more than 8yrs. I have looked at all the other phones currrently offered and don't like any of them for one reason or another. Does anyone know anything? I would prefer to stay where I am, but am ready to make the switch to a different carrier.

Don't ask me how I know this as I can't share and if you don't believe then oh well, I'm sharing anyway. I have been told from reliable sources that US Cellular has/will buy Alltel in the following places: Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, North Dakota, Colorado, Idaho...and that's all I have confirmation of, but I'd venture to guess it would include Kansas and Nebraska as well. Only time will tell, you heard it here first!

I have the motorola rokr. And my middle button the black piece around it fell off. anyone know of anything i can use to put it back on and make it stick?

I have had US Cellular ever since I ditched my Tracfone in 8th grade. Now that ATT has purchased CellularOne I have been thinking about switching to get an iPhone. However, I think I may renew my contract one last time with USCC before I make the jump. Right now I am really interested in the Blackberry Curve and possibly the HTC Touch. If anyone could give me any feedback on these phones, especially the Blackberry, that would be great. I also would like it if anyone could give me any info on the available plans for these phones. My last question is whether OS 4.6 will ever be available for the Curve and whether I will be missing out on better phones if I purchaase now. Thanks for all responses. 😁

Can anyone please list them for the Chicago(773) and Joliet(815)areas? I had 773-552-8888 and 815-690-8888. Now when I tried the 773 a company answered. And the 815 one works sometimes and other times a woman answers. Just trying to find out if they have been updated. The 815 for Rockford does not work for the Joliet/Plainfield area numbers.Thanks

What is the first location or state to recieve new USCC phones?

So I know as far as the current gen Curve (83xx), current gen Pearl (81xx), and current 88xx series goes 4.5 is the highest OS you will get from any carrier (excluding Nextel with their brand new 8350 Curve). I also know that RIM is currently releasing a new line of Curves, Pearls, (the replacement for the 88xx) Bold, and the new line, the Storm. The new Bold, Pearls, and Curve all have or will have OS 4.6 installed. So will RIM release 4.6 for us users of the 83xx Curve and other soon-to-be-outdated Blackberries or does all the fun go to the new kids on the block. There is already a 83xx Curve with 4.6 with Nextel so I don't see why it wouldn't work to make available to CDMA and GSM versions. Does RIM usually do this? Will they in this ...

So which of the phones that USCC currently sells or is testing has the best camera?
Ultimately I see there being two types of phones mostly - smart phones with WIFI which I don't want and phones with cameras which I prefer. since I can see needing a good camera with me I want the best camera possible - probably a 4 or 5 megapixel. What are my choices??

Does it have a full HTML Browser or a crappy wap one?
