im gonna go check it out...i'm either going to get that...or go back to my blackberry curve. I miss my curve too...But I sold it because the Delve looked "Like a good phone.." and I hated it...mainly the ascending ringers.

I'm an iPhone user that can no longer tolerate the crap service I get from AT&T. I love the phone, but I simply don't get adequate reception at home and having to stand by a window to make a call is just unacceptable. So I need to switch to a CDMA carrier. Obviously having had the iPhone for over a year now I can't go back to a basic phone. At the very least I want something that is good for web browsing and e-mail. Those are essential. I don't really use my iPhone for any of the media features like music and video so if a phone isn't as strong in those areas I'll cope. I thought the Blackberry Storm would be my alternative but the sluggish interface and funky click screen just didn't sell me the way I had expected.

Canadian Carriers Off 3 year contracts and the discount on the phone breaks down like this..

no contract or 1 year- NO DISCOUNT on handset

2 year contract- 25-50 Discount off handset

3- gets full discount on phone. i was looking at a blackberry on the rogers wireless site and its 549.99 full price, with 3 year contract u get it for roughly 200.

I currently work for Alltel and I have a feeling that U.S. Cellular will be the carrier that ultimately purchases the VZW/Alltel divested markets.

A lot of other's I talk to have a feeling (more so a hope), that AT&T will purchase the divested markets. All I've heard is that U.S. Cellular would be the front runner so I'm interested in knowing what it's like to work for U.S. Cellular.

Any information that anyone can provide on working for U.S. Cellular and/or the thoughts on them purchasing the VZW/Alltel divested markets would be appreciated. Thank you.

First time in the history of the company that they lost customers. Lets get real here USCC days are numbered. Its only a matter of time b4 they are bought. I had USCC they have great coverage and customer service but nothing else. People don't care about having coverage in remote areas and customer service, they want the coolest phones and features. You don't offer that....Get ready to be ATT or VZ..... Best of luck to you all

while most companies are begging the government for a bailout, US Cell is actually giving back - pretty cool stuff...

It is infuriating that I have to have the data package with my Blackberry phone. I like the way that it texts, I like to make calls with it. I don't need picture messaging and I don't need the mobile web! I have used the phone without the package until U.S. Cellular got bent and started checking out phones that didn't have the data package. It worked fine. I called U.S. Cellular customer service and they fed me some line about how the phone would not function properly without the service, but I'm pretty sure they made that up because they had no direct answer to give me when I asked them why I must have it. The phone functioned properly without the package, they're full of it. Just another way to make money, as if they're not reeling ...

Hello - I need a phone to send and receive e-mail and open Word/Excel. I have large hands and do not like the current size keys on the standard Blackberry units.

Here is the link to load WM 6.1 on the HTC Touch. It also has instructions for how to do it. If you haven't loaded software on a phone before you will want to read the instructions. If you dont follow them you can ruin your phone. If you follow the step by step instructions it is extremely easy process.

Does Us Cellular have any coverage or plans to cover Northern Wisconsin up to the Minoqua area? I know there are online coverage maps but they are not always up to date or reflect planned expansions. Some info from a USCC employee would be appreciated.
