Using minutes

My Motorola Tracphome is using minutes withought me texting or calling. A few times a day it says .1065 (or something like that) minutes deduced, on my phone it said 3G so I'm thinking that might be the problem, but I don't know how to turn off 3G.

Problems sending Duplicate texts from Acatel One Touch Pop Icon

Hi I have had my Acatel One Touch Pop Icon phone for the past 7 months. I love it. I thought I had plenty of minutes for texting...when in the middle of texting with my friend...the notification came up Insufficient funds. I added 1000 texts last night. Then I downloaded a free text app Textra from Google play. And text my friend about 10 messages from TEXTRA. Today I checked my balance and I had 947 texts left. When I never even used the tracfone texting since adding the 1000 minutes.
I told my friend and she said duplicates messages have been randomly been sent from me for months now. We do a lot of texting. I was going to call tracfone, but you know how that is. In the meantime I downloaded Textra. And I notice the same messages I ...

Cannot register my HTC Thunderbolt with Tracfone

I recently purchased a 4G LTE phone activation kit from Tracfone. When I tried to set up my HTC Thunderbolt (formerly a Verizon phone) I got the error message, "We are unable to process your transaction at this time. Please call our Customer Care Center at 1-800-867-7183." Customer service was absolutely useless. Have you experienced this? I am sure that I typed the IMEI right, I also tried the MEID, and I tried it multiple times on multiple devices. Please help!

Text message banking not available - DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED!

I tried to access my banking info via my LG800 cell phone, on the T-Mobile network, and received the following message:
"Sorry, this service is not available for your service plan."

Can anyone access their banking info using a Tracfone service plan?

Note: All other text messages are received and sent without a problem.

Tracfone Promo Codes

Where can you get tracfones promocodes from tracfone?
I know that there is a lot of 3rd party sites that host the tracfones promocodes, but some of them are sort of shady.

Here is a site that host just the newest tracfone promocodes for 2014. 😳 But im looking for more of a direct source.

Any phones on net10/tracfone that have turn by turn navigation without needing data/3g/internet?

I am looking for any phones that I can use instead of a GPS (garmin, etc)

Does net 10 have any?

I know net 10 has new android phones now.

$100 for one at walmart.

not too picky on phones as I use a samsung r355c with $15 a month cards ($30 for 2 months)

I really need a phone that I can use instead of having to carry a GPS around as well.

Any carrier welcomed, except sprint which requires $10/month data plan

Tracfone/Safelink -Service

Tracfone does all the Safelink support for Safelink phones. I filled out a tech support ticket asking if i could upgrade my phone. I was told yes but it has to be a Tracfone. Then i registered an account @Tracfone because that's what tech support told me to do. After completing all of the steps i noticed the next day none of my minutes and service days were transfered to my new phone. I signed into my Tracfone account and i noticed it displayed your "phone needs updates". After completing the updates i noticed i arrived at a "buy it now" page just hit cancel. My phone now had the minutes and service days on the new phone. I had emailed support and asked prior to switching to another Tracfone would i receive my minutes next month. They ne...

how long can i keep a minute card without activating?

I am in a situation where I may need to travel and do not want to use my regular phone for my out of area assinment(disaster response)
I was thinking of buying a tripple minute phone and stocking up on minute cards until I need them. I have no issue with activating the phone, I just don't want to use all the cards during say one year if I did not need to.

Also, as having a new number is not a issue, could i activate the phone, use it when I need to and let it lapse until I needed it again and use one of my minute cards to start the process all over again?

Road Side assistance and Walmart

If you google tracfone and walmart road side assistance you will get what looks to be a walmart press release that states you can get a minute filler card for road side assistance for a year at walmart. However, between several walmarts between Kentucky and Tennessee we can not find anyone who knows anything about this at a walmart store... Any ideas?

"Upon Further Review... ST Ain't So Bad"

The 220C is a great "phone" - but, that's all it is.

If you're an adult and just need a "phone" with the usual features, and not a "toy" to play with (text, games, internet, etc.), you will find nothing better! Great size, features, sound, reception, battery life, screen, visibility, etc., etc.... you will be delighted with the 220C! I've had mutliple "phones" and the 220C is the best I've had.

ST is a great "carrier," at a great price - but, that's all it is. If you need CS you should look elsewhere. It's great if you're tech savy and can find your own solutions. It's terrible if you're not / can't!

Be sure to buy your phone at Walmart - so, if you have any issues, you can just take it back and get another, or get a refund. My f...

ST possibley getting new phones?

I've had them for awhile. my family has had them for awhile. I actually switched from Metro (who was still charging taxes on there monethly plans at the time) and went to ST, seemed like a good deal. SAve some money, and get better service, right?

Right. I got exactly that. I've had only one problem so far with them, and that was that I woke up, and my number had been given to a Verizon person (I know this because when I called my number it was a Verizon voice box). Aside from that one incident, Neither I nor my family has ever had a problem (yep, that's 4 phones altogether).

I like the price for what I get, and service is excellent. Never had a dropped call or anything. My only issue there is sometimes txt/pix messages are slow goin...
