Will this phone work at 3G on ATT network?

Does AT&T have 2 websites or something? I keep hearing about a 70 dollar Unlimited talk, Text, data plan. Last I heard AT&T had moved to Tier based data plans so as to not overload the network. All I can find for plans is the $70 Unlimited talk that was annoucned a while ago about the same time Verizon did. Are these people just full of it or am I missing something?

The conclusion, based on a survey of 58,000 readers, shows subscribers continue to hold AT&T's service in low regard even after the carrier boosted its wireless spending by $2 billion this year in an effort to correct what it has acknowledged were weaknesses in its network.

For the past week I've had major issues with my iphone 3gs. singnal goes from full strength to searching, to no service, then back to full strength.

I've got nothing but BS from tech support. I can't figure out if something is wrong with the network or my phone.

I've swapped sim cards, restored the software on my phone, and they've sent some kind of over the air update to my phone ( i think it got worse after that). Also, with my sim card in the phone, my wifi signal was effected too. With sim card out, wifi seems to work fine. So that makes me lean toward something funky is happening when the phone is on the network.

In the east Texas area...anyone have any input? Thanks.

I opened up my account last Friday at a Walmart store and even paid a deposit. I got the iphone and loved it, except I couldn't send or receive text messages. ATT told me to take the phone back to Walmart and exchange it. They were out of the iphone, I had bought the last one. Since I had already paid my deposit there the day before, I had to get another phone at Walmart. So, I got the bold 9700 which is a nice phone, but it's not the iphone like I wanted. Well the texting still wasn't working after two days. I called ATT and they said the girl never signed me up for text messaging and that's why it wasn't working. So I went back to Walmart and explained this and wanted my iphone back I had returned. They said that I couldn't get it...

I am on my phone all the time, internet, text, calls, emails, pictures...and want an android phone. At&T Doesnt exactly seem to be the athority on android coming from verizon. But Verizon service in my area sucks! So, I am trying to get a phone that pulls a really strong signal, and is quick, I HATE lag, and atleast has android 2.1.

I was looking at the iphone, but one of my co workers has the 3gs and one has a iphone 4 and they don't get reception (maybe 1bar or searching for service) where I work, but my other coworkers FREE nokia gets 5 bars all the time..... Does the iphone not have a strong radio.

I love andrioid....opinions???

will there be an upgraded pearl 3g with more memory and higher resoution camera in the near future? I am thinking about switching over from sprint to att and would definitely go for this phone.

Also, any input on switching from sprint to att? I know you should try it first to see if it works for you, but I'm wondering if anyone has experience specifically with blackberry users switching from sprint to att living in the chicago area. I love to travel but i don't really travel to bufu parts of the country. That may change however as I do plan to start flying for the airlines soon for a regional carrier and I wouldn't be suprised if some of my routes take me into rural america.

I changed from VZW to AT&T.... I didn't like the android offerings, so im trying out the iphone 3gs....

I noticed that on 3g data is slower than verizons evdo network, is the possible or am I just being parinoid?

Edge speeds aren't as fast as 1x either....which confuses me i guess on both accounts.....

Could it just be the iphone, should I consider the captivate even though I haven't been impressed by samsung in the past???? if the aria was a 3.5 or 3.7" screen i would be all over it....

Any suggestions? Atleast I have the 30 days to return it. I kept my vzw service active just in case and got a new ## from at&t....

So ive finally saved up enough money to get one of these devices 😁 ....was looking for some opinions from people who have spent some time with the tablets....one question i do have (and this is kindof why im leaning to the galaxy tab side) is i understand the ipad does not have a front nor rear facing camera how ever is there a way to hook up a web cam via usb or something of that nature?
