OK, my contract is up and I am looking into new phones. I love both blackberry's and iPhones so I am torn. The Torch 9800 seems like a great combination of the 2. Does anyone else here have a Torch and how do you like it? How about compared to the iPhone?

The iphone continues to push AT&T back to the top.

So I work for an agent that sells at&t. What are your thoughts on what will happen once Verizon carries the iPhone(rumored early 2011 by WSJ and NY Times)? I know we don't make a lot of money on them but residual business could be effected dramatically. Do you think the impending windows 7 launch and growing android line up will make the loss of exclusivity negligible? And to anyone who sells verizon I hope your margins are better than ours on the iPhone.

Does anyone know if ATT will be getting the N* or the C3. Read somewhere that the C3 was coming.

My husband needs a phone with really strong reception. He is working at two different locations, both have marginal reception on part of the property, slim to none on the rest. This is with his current Sony Ericsson W518a. He previously used the SE W550i, it was a little better but got beat up to the point of barely staying in one piece.

We've been reading the reviews of the Moto Tundra. It seems to have great reception but iffy earpiece audio. The audio can be managed with a bluetooth headset, we think. It isn't in stock on the AT&T website, we haven't checked the stores yet. He doesn't need anything but a phone, having a camera and music are a plus, anything else would be unused.

Since I got hammered in the last post about unlimited is not necessary and no one except a very very limited few ever use more then that then why would att not offer a unlimited option if so few people ever use that much?

Even though it had nothing to do with that and everything to do with att trying to make a commercial saying they are doing everyone a favor so lets make a new thread about it since that is what everyone wanted to bring into it.

Seems like a decent os that has really good support from manufactures and networks.

How does dual flash work on phone such as does it gives a bright light and help take good pics in the dark? I'm lost about the purpose of it.

where i can pay full price for a phone a get the same service a post paid customer gets?

Some of you may remember a post I had a couple months ago about how I was able to buy a captivate at $200 with no commitment. At&t never fixed the website and I purchased a second captivate at no commitment for $200. I was put in a contract, just like I was the first time, except this time they won't let me out. I have a video showing me select "no commitment" pricing. What would you guys do in this situation? I personally believe that mistake or not, if the website says no commitment...i shouldn't be held to a contract. suggestions or comments?

A friend of mine just bought a jailbroken iPhone 3GS. He plans to unlock it so that he can use it on T-Mobile and on overseas networks. (Yes, he knows that he won't have 3G data service.)

I have an unlocked Nokia E71 that I've been using on AT&T for over a year and a half. I have the "dumbphone" unlimited data plan for $15 per month. Said friend wants to use my SIM card in his iPhone, just to see if/how it works.

I've never owned an iPhone, so I am wondering what would/might happen if my SIM is used in his iPhone, even temporarily. Would AT&T detect that my SIM is being used in an iPhone and therefore upgrade my data plan automatically? Any ideas?

I was wondering what is the policy for having websites that sell cell phones, Affilates sites that use Wirefly or LetsTalk.

Does at&t ban employees from owning such sites and what about Blogs does at&t monitor what you can talk about.

So I bought a Brazilian Moto Milestone, popped my SIM in and everything worked great on ATT and was in English.
Went back to my iPhone and did a factory reset on the Milestone...opps!
Now it's in a different language, can't activate it.
What can I do? Since I received it in working condition I'm thinking I just need to root it and load a different software or something like that.
Any ideas?

quick question, i have had the tilt 2 since release date and had it exchanged in feb. 2010. does anyone know of any software updates since 2/2010? and if so where can i get it?
